Personality: Obiageli has a personality much akin to Kiara's. She was also stubborn and a bit prideful, but this was mainly to protect herself from untrustworthiness.

Biography: Obiageli was born to a terribly sickly mother who had become sick through childbirth. Not soon after, her father fell ill to the same sickness. Obiageli learned how to take care of herself at a very young age. Through her childhood she provided for her parents, who could no longer move very far on their own. As a teenager, Obiageli now had to take full responsibility for her parents, whose health was now rapidly deteriorating. She happened to meet Kovu while hunting a gazelle that took her farther into the Outlands than she had wanted.
Kovu had caught and killed the gazelle. When Obiageli proceeded to attack him, he overthrew her. He let her go once she told him to spare her life so she could go back to her dying parents. Out of pity, Kovu returned her prey and offered to carry it to her home. On the way, Obiageli ended up developing feelings for Kovu, since he was a rather handsome creature. She thanked him and watched him leave.
The next day Obiageli returned to the Outlands and repayed Kovu with a gazelle she had caught. Surprised, Kovu refused to take it, but Obiageli insisted. They ate it together. Kovu and Obiageli bonded quickly since she would bounce into his territory at least once a day. They flirted and played often. Once adults, Obiageli and Kovu were free to travel away for hours on end, where they would explore and discover new parts of the Outlands. One day, Kovu met Obiageli at the edge of the Pridelands and offered to take her on an adventure. Obiageli needed his word that they would not be gone for more than a day. He swore, and they were off.
Kovu and Obiageli ended up being away for five days. Once they returned from wherever they had gone, they were confronted by Kovu's mother, Zira, who attacked and drove away Obiageli. She came home to find her parents gone and their den destroyed. Panicked, Obiageli went to Kovu and pleaded to help find her missing parents. Kovu agreed, and as they searched Obiageli began to blame him for their disappearance. He felt more of a burden than anything in her search and yelled at her, abandoning her to look for herself. At midnight, when Obiageli was still searching for her parents, she was confronted by Zira and several other lionesses. Zira admitted to taking Obiageli's parents. After refusing to tell Obiageli where they were, the cheetah was convicted of attempting to assassinate Kovu as a servant of Simba and was killed.
Kovu was heavily emotionally affected by her death, which allowed Zira to brainwash him into carrying out Simba's assassination.

Arc Placement: These events took place in the space of time after Kiara and Kovu meet and before Kovu is brainwashed by Zira.

- Obiageli's creation was inspired by the character of Obiageli in Chinua Achebe's "Things Fall Apart".
