Personality: Raimei is quite mature and sensible,though he does have a short temper and a sarcastic tongue. He's stubborn,and isn't one to let somebody walk all over him.He'd take charge if necessary,as in if something was going wrong.He's very smart,but he's also very protective of his family and those he feels deserve his protection.Being the King's son,he's strong,powerful and quite capable of taking down a threatening enemy.He's also very wise,and will gladly give someone advice if needed.

History: Raimei was the first born son to Ahadi and Uru.Since he was first born,he was heir to the throne.At first,Raimei couldn't wait to become the King.As a cub,he was a lot like Simba is. At the time he was an only child,and there were no other cubs around so he was rather lonely. This is when Uru and Ahadi decided  to have another cub.After a while,the exciting news of a new cub reached Raimei's ears.He was delighted to be able to look after his sibling.

When Mufasa was born,Raimei was a teen. He loved his little brother dearly.He spent time with him and everything. Then,a new comer came.His name was Taka. Raimei loved both his little brothers with all his heart.

When Raimei was an adult,he was appalled of the cruelty to the hyenas.He wanted them to have equal rights as lions. But Ahadi wasn't allowing it. So,Raimei said he wasn't going to become the heir,not if the hyenas were to be treated as lower species.Ahadi was angered by this,but he made his  second eldest son Mufasa the heir instead.Uru,though she kept it to herself,was proud of her son for standing up for what he believes in.

As he watched his siblings grow,Raimei was prouder than any other big brother there could be.He had a tight bond with both of his brothers,who were now teens.He and Taka got along especially,because both felt that the way the hyenas were being treated was simply unacceptable.

One day,Taka had come home with Ahadi with a large mark over his eye. Reimei immediately suspected that Ahadi had done something,but the smug King simply smirked and denied it. Raimei asked Taka did their father do something.Taka shook his head and said no,a water buffalo had done it... but Raimei wasn't fooled.He could easily tell his little brother was lying,it was obvious.He was outraged and approached his father while Uru treated Taka's wounds.

The redish brown lion went up to his father and without warning,slashed at him. He caught the golden lion's muzzle,and it was obvious it'd leave a visible scar. Outraged,the King roared and demanded why would he do such a thing. Raimei answered,voice full of anger,"You've betrayed my trust and acted sinfully as a father.How could you strike your own child and give him a scar,when he's done nothing wrong!?"

Ahadi,slightly surprised of his eldest son's actions,snarled and answered,"Lions are the superior species.We do not care for petty scavangers such as hyenas.And I caught the fool mingling with them as if they could become friends!The nerve of the boy."He snarled.

Raimei was furious now. He was hit,for making friends!? He couldn't believe it.His poor little brother,who was once so innocent and sweet,now had to bare the scar of 'having friends'.It was... monsterous. Blinded with rage,he lunged at his father.A fierce fight broke out,but Uru managed to stop it before the two killed each other.Ahadi gave a snarl and banished his eldest son to the outlands.Raimei left after he said  goodbye to his brothers. It was because of this that Taka wanted to become King; so he could bring back his brother and allow the hyenas to have equal rights.

Raimei spent most of his time with the hyenas. He kept in touch with Taka,now Scar,as he brought them food.Sadly Raimei never saw his brother Mufasa again. Mufasa had agreed with his father and kept the hyenas out of the pride lands.Raimei was disappointed; did his brother not see that the way the hyenas were treated wasnn't fair? Obviously not.

It was also confusing that when Mufasa DID become king,Scar had demanded that Raimei was to be able to join the pride again.But,Mufasa refused saying he was banished for attacking a pride member. Scar was outraged,HE had been attacked by his father,but nothing was done about that except  the fact his oldest brother,who had stood up for him,had been unfairly banished.This is what led to Scar's hatred of Mufasa,and 'long live the king' was what he said,meaning that Raimei was the true king and not him.

It was only until Scar became King that Raimei was allowed into the pride.Reluctantly he agreed and came back.It was odd,to get used to his 'old life'. Scar wanted to make his and Raimei's dream come true,but things got out of hand and Scar was cracking under the pressure. Raimei could only watch with sadness as Simba returned and killed Scar. He did not attempt fighting Raimei though,hearing he was a very skilled fighter.And he had no real reason to. Simba allowed Raimei,his only unlce now,to stay in the pride. Raimei thanked Simba,saying Mufasa would have been proud.

Raimei was very happy for Simba when Kiara was born.He'd lived through all of the drama,and when Kiara was crying about Simba exiling Kovu,Raimei had told her to follow her heart and go to him. Kiara thanked the wise old lion and ran out. Raimei smiled,knowing Simba would probably be mad,but he knew he'd done the right thing in telling her that.

After the war between the two prides,Raimei had caught an illness that couldn't be cured. He suffered greatly,but still managed to help around Pride Rock,despite Simba saying he should stay and rest. Raimei told him that his brothers didn't die easily. And neither would he.

It was a tragic time,but Raimei finally passed away at an old age. He had lived a very interesting life,and Kiara would certainly remember him,and so would all of the Pride Lands.
