Personality: Raziya is very quiet and secluded, and when she does speak, it is to either offend or defend someone. Her temper is unfathomable, and Stars help anyone who crosses her path when she's in a bad mood.

Bio:

Born in the middle of Scar's Reign, Raziya knew from the start she would be a Queen. Her father dotes upon her, and her mother takes better care of her than any lioness cared for her child. She grows to be spoilt, and her sweet nature is soon replaced with anger and tantrums.

When Raziya is a teen, Zira takes her aside and teaches her how to fight. Raziya shows a natural talent, which pleases Zira to some small degree. Soon, Raziya is adept at the art and any of her mother's doubts about letting her rule are washed away.

Raziya is also some small comfort to Cheka, her older brother, who suffers abuse under the paws of his father. She knows that he's been deprived of the chance to be heir, and so she spends any if not all of her spare time with him. When he leaves the Pridelands with the rest of the refugees, her heart is torn in two.

When Scar is killed, Raziya runs away from the Pridelands. She can't bear to live in the shadow of Pride Rock now that her father is gone. Any chance of her being Queen now is gone, and she is alone.

When her mother comes to her in the night, whispering plots of murder and deceit, she turns them down. Zira plans to kill Simba's firstborn, Kopa, which is outrageous. She leaves to the Outlands, where she is certain she can be alone.

Until she sees her mother and a small number of former Pridelanders entering her domain. Apparently, they were exiled for the supposed death of Kopa and the assault of Baridi, Kopa's betrothed. Raziya smiles inside - they've finally got their taste of justice.

Later on in her life, Raziya meets a rogue, Choyo. She befriends him, and talks with him often. He takes his leave of her a while later, and Raziya finds herself pregnant.

When the child is born, a dark-furred little boy with beautiful green eyes, Choyo leaves her in the night, abandoning her. Distraught, Raziya takes her son to Zira, who names the child Kovu, and Raziya bids her mother farewell.

And she is gone.

A while after, she goes to the Pridelands in secret and sees that Simba has two new heirs, Adui and Kiara. She eavesdrops on Simba and Nala, and discovers that Adui is not Simba's son - he is Ni's. So Raziya steals the child away from the King and Queen, and raises him as her own, whispering lies about the King and Queen to Adui to spark his hatred.

When he is a young lion, she sends him to Tojo's Valley Pride, where her brother fled the Pridelands to. When Adui returns many moons after, he tells her that he has fathered a cub and the Pride are out for his blood. She defends him, but when he leaves once more, she takes her leave of him and goes to her mother's territory in the Outlands.

She is horrified to find that she is gone.

She wanders for a long, long while, and finally discovers Casper. She is rather hesitant to be his friend, but they manage to develop a strange, somewhat tense relationship. As the days go by, she finds herself closer and closer to him. She even manages to save his life on one occasion, and that is the trigger for their eventual love.

But then, Aly returns to Casper, and Choyo returns to Raziya. The two are torn between old lovers, and Raziya is clawed from her new love. Choyo is almost cruel to her, but when Raziya sees his tough, homicidal side, she leaves him and returns to Casper, who has recently cleared things off with Aly. After a dispute with Simba, Raziya and Casper become official mates, and Choyo is out of the picture.

Things are off to a great start when Raziya births his daughter, Njozi. Raziya dotes on her new child, while Casper seems hesitant. She thinks it's Choyo all over again, so she takes the infant Njozi and leaves for good.

She raises Njozi to be careful of males, and to be careful in the mate she picks. Njozi grows up to be somewhat cruel like her mother and grandmother, and when Raziya is reunited with Casper, the older lioness notes her disdain.

Njozi, now an adolescent, eventually leaves, after hearing both parents' side of the story. Raziya never sees the girl again, and, after a talk with Casper, leaves to find her. She fails in her efforts, and never manages to find Casper again, but she does find another member of her family.

She collapses in the gorge, old and worn, and is rescued by Mwokozi, an associate of Nuka's. She joins his pride, and manages to leave behind her old life, living by her adopted brother's side until her eventual death.

But she never forgets her Casper, or her Njozi.
