Reina is the daughter of Makini and Kurudi. She is Kopa, Vitani, Kiara and Kovu's second grandchild and Simba and Nala's second great grandchild.

She was a very quiet cub and tended to stick with her parents for confidence. Everything about the world confused and scared her.

She was often teased by Giancarlo for her colour. This hit her hard as she thought she was odd anyway. Everytime she went to the waterhole she would drink with her eyes closed so she wouldn't see her reflection. She would run to her parents for support after every teasing. They would then scold Gian, but he didn't stop. When Reina teased Gian for his funny hairstyle he would stop where he was and then continue teasing her.

As a teen she got a nice surprise when Gian started being nice to her and everyone around him. She started to have a little crush on him and found him quite brave, bold and handsome. In the den she would scratch his name on the wall next to her and think about the future.

As an adult she spent less and less time with her parents and more and more time with Gian. She realised that he loved her and she loved him. They would go everywhere together and she started sharing her catches with him, the thing a mate would do.

When they became fully mated, she realised that she would become queen.

When Kurudi and Makini realesed their rule she became queen with Gian by her side..
