Personality: Safiya is a natural born mother, she’s kind and understanding. She easily forgives those who hurt her and can be quite naïve at times. Though seemingly weak on the outside Safiya can be a force to reckon with and will do whatever it takes to protect those she loves. She is extremely shy but when in her element she will speak her mind. She is very good at hiding her feelings, and is always calm and patient. She is very wise when push comes to shove and can be a peace maker.

Likes: Safiya loves sunny days and hunting, she enjoys chatting with fellow lionesses and though a skilled hunter prefers to stay home and cub-sit. Safiya cannot wait to rule and kind of doesn’t want a king.

Dislikes: Safiya dislikes being pressured to find herself a proper mate. She can get really annoyed with her father at times and is perfectly happy with no significant other or cubs. She dislikes anyone who messes with her family.

Fears: Safiya is scared of thunderstorms and fears’ loosing what is most close to her, her family and friends.

History:

Safiya was born a year after Simba fought Zira and all was calm and peaceful, her mother and father loved her dearly and kept her as safe as possible, growing up Safiya fit in perfectly with the other cubs. In a true princess like fashion she took control of a situation when given a chance. She made plenty of friends and was very calm and proper. She grew up as a pretty sheltered cub and when she was older her parents started to fuss over her even more and didn’t let her go outside most of the time. She didn’t understand and that put a strain on her relationship with her father. The rest of her cub years had no excitement and was filled with boring lectures. When she was older on her first hunt and one of the first times she was out on her own she hunted perfectly and for once she impressed her father. It was the happiest day of her life and she became a pride favorite. Sadly Safiya lost a lot of her friends because she was so popular they became jealous. One even tried to kill her and was exiled. Safiya was very lonely and began to visit Pride Rock meeting some of the lioness’s there helped her get over her sadness and she was very happy. But when Safiya was attacked by a jealous Pridelander lioness Safiya reluctantly protected herself and the lioness escaped telling Kiara, Kovu, Simba and, Nala she was attacked by her Safiya was exiled. Safiya swore revenge on the lioness and said that she would be back to ‘Make amends’ Safiya continues to be trained as a princess by her father and awaits patiently for her chance to become queen.
