Personality: Shujaa likes to seem tough and brave. He boasts a lot and teases the cub gang. Shujaa especially likes to pick on Kiburi, because he isn’t very brave, and is also a bit jealous of him for being an ex-prince. Shujaa wishes he could be king and tries to pick on any weakness Joto has to try and prove that he won’t be a good king-and also, for fun

History: Shujaa became friends with a cub named Destiny. They used to joke about others a bit, but then they started teasing them out of meanness. A cub they picked on was Kiburi, the prince of another pride which had been brought here by two members. They teased him because he was scared. Vara, one of the cubs who had brought him here, threatened to fight. Shujaa got ready to do so, but Joto, the prince of the pride, and his little brother, Jino, came. Jino had a crush on Destiny and she hated that, so she ran off along with Shujaa.
The next day the father of Kiburi came looking to the pride, looking for his son. When the king asked his members if they had seen him, Shujaa answered and purposely said him that Joto had not told him (his father.) Later Shujaa was surprised to find out that Kiburi had been a prince and that he didn’t like that life, saying he’d rather have that life.
Relation to TLK: Shujaa is Malka’s uncle
