History: Sarafina was one of the youngest lionesses from Mufasa's generation, she even had the chance to met her great-grandchildren and also she had the chance to have another cub. Sultan was born along with the others cubs while Sarafina raised her son with love, Nala also was really happy for her little brother since she missed Mheetu. Sultan was always spoiled by his mother who always said "he was the most beautiful cub in the Pridelands", Nala would also spoil her brother and besides, other lionesses would always fall in love for his cute chubby face especially Safiri, who aways had a crush on Sultan, the lionesses in the pride used to say that they were made to be together because both were snobs and narcissists, but Sultan never really liked Safiri.

The cubs from the pride didn't were so close to Sultan because he prefered to be in calm and clean places and the cubs loved to play in the savannah and get in trouble. Kovu's daugthers loved to do pranks with Sultan and never called him by his name, they called him "uncle" or "Uncle TanTan" most of times. Sultan had a pretty good life with his family, however, Sarafina was getting too old and she died while Sultan was still a cub, he became very sad and depressive and did an huge drama for a long time, he started to live under the cares of his sister Nala who trated him just like Sarafina did and with time he became better.

Growing up, Sultan stayed as the same, he only had eyes for himself. He became one of the most attractive lions in the Pridelands and females would always want to be with him, and since Sultan didn't knew or liked to hunt because he could dirty his paws or mess his mane, he would take advantage of the lionesses and send them to hunt for him or do other things, Sultan barely leaved the Priderock and spent most of his time sleeping. Even if most of the lionesses loved him, there was one lioness in the Priderock that hated him more than anything in the world, it was Shafira, she would always found a way to ruin something in Sultan's day, she hated everything about him. But there was something in Shafira that made Sultan attracted to her more and more, her rebellious and stubborn attidude. Most lionesses would jump in Sultan's arms easily but he was tired of that, he didn't wanted to have a lioness like that, he wanted to conquer a mate in the hard way.

When Shafira became very depressed Sultan found his opportunity to get close to her, he went to her cave everyday and talked to her about her feelings, he would bring food and watter to her and sleep by her side. As time went on Sultan helped Shafira and everything went back to normal, they started to date and continued their lives in the Pridelands.
