Bio:

The son of Jabari and Bahati, Tau was born on the night of his grandfather Hodari's death. His birth helped to ease his father's pain from the loss.

Tau is not much younger than his uncle Kweli and aunts Latifa and Nafula, and as a result they have always been more like best friends, growing up together within the Oasis Pride. Tau was Crown Prince and expected to take over as king after his father Jabari, but all that changed when as a young adult, Kweli announced he was leaving the pride, along with Latifa and Nafula. Distraught at the thought of being separated from his companions, Tau made a difficult decision to accompany them.

The four lions travelled alone for a year or so, enjoying their freedom. Upon entering the Pridelands, they were greeted by a lioness from the local pride. The lioness – who turned out to be a Crown Princess Waridi – convinced her father, King Khari, to let the four lions to stay. Tau began to spend more and more time alone with Waridi, growing closer with each day that passed.

After Waridi’s death, Tau named their son “Miba” in her honour.
