Personality: Very strict, neat, and organized. She is very hard to please, and is very difficult to work with at times. She wants the perfect future for her family and so does whatever she can in her power to ensure that happens. Teshi has unrealistic standards, and is criticized for not being able to see reality. Teshi feels oligated since she is Ayodele's mate that she can do whatever she wants. The thing is, she does things in such a polite way that you have to be eyeing the details of her intentions. Teshi is a very good mother to Abeni, but can be possessive of her daughter and is overprotective. Despite all her bad qualities, Ayodele's mother Baako can't find herself to hate her because she's such a loving mate to her son.

History: Teshi was born and raised in a reservation on the African plains. The only lions she ever had contact with were the lions brought in to help repopulate the decreasing number. When she became old enough, the humans decided to place a tracking collar on her and release her into the wild. Teshi was frightened because she had never known of a world outside the one she grew up in, and so for a while she struggled to do things on her own. One day she bumped into a younger male whose mane had not fully grown in yet. Teshi was in heat at this time, and her and the young lion spent the night together before he was off the next morning. Now pregnant, Teshi needed to be extra careful - the only problem was that since she was a lone lioness, she had to survive on her own, which is difficult for a loner.

Teshi finally crossed paths with the young lion whom she mated with and his pride. The young lion, named Ayodele, recognized her and feeling pity took her into the pride despite his mother's loud protests. There was no official leader of the pride yet - Ayodele led the pride with his brothers for their father Judas, who had passed away from old age, could not decide on which of his sons was going to officially rule. At first Ayodele tolerated her because she was carrying his cub, but eventually he grew to return the same love she felt for him, just in time for her to bear him a cub, Abeni.

When Abeni was lost, Teshi grieved for her daughter. It wasn't until Abeni was a teenager that they were reunited, but by then things had changed. Teshi, though happy to have her daughter back, was not happy about her daughter's rebellious attitude, and later blamed it on Ikeena and Fang corrupting her. This caused a huge dispute between the two prides and, having enough, Abeni left her family to live with Ikeena and his pride. Teshi was upset by this betrayal from her daughter, and refused to call her family. Teshi later ended up getting deathly ill, but survived, and was surprised to see that Abeni had visited her. She begged for Abeni's forgiveness, and her daughter gave her that.

In their happiness following Teshi's full recovery, she and Ayodele mated again, and conceived a second daughter, whom Teshi called Ayira. She believed her to be a gift, a second try to have the daughter she wanted that she couldn't have in Abeni. Unfortunately, this meant that she pressured her daughter a lot, leading to her crippling self-esteem and submissiveness. She also pushed for her daughter to bear her cubs once Ayira was older, and was upset when attempts were futile.

Abeni returned a second time with a new message to bring - she was mates with Ikeena's daughter Kanoni, and she was bearing cubs. While Ayodele was comfortable with Abeni's decision, Teshi was indignant, and outright disowned Abeni after that. But then good news followed when Ayira revealed that she had given birth to a cub. Teshi gladly accepted Nkiru, only she does not know that the cub she holds dear to her was Abeni and Kanoni's, stolen in the middle of the night by Ayira.
