Personality: The complete opposite of Abeni in every possible way. While Abeni sauntered with confidence, Ayira always crawled on her belly, being submissive to everyone, especially to her mother. She is quiet, shy, and never speaks unless spoken to. She lives with immense pressure, given what Teshi's relationship with Abeni was like, and deep down Ayira felt some resentment for her older sister because how could she turn her back on her family? Desperate for her mother's complete love and approval, Ayira would do anything for her.

History: Ayira was born sometime after Teshi's full recovery from her illness, and her birth was celebrated between her parents since Abeni was disowned from the family. Teshi took to rearing Ayira almost immediately, never leaving her daughter alone for one moment because she did not want her to be influenced by outsiders, like what happened to Abeni. Teshi tried so hard to prevent Ayira from following Abeni's pawprints that she succeeded in shaping Ayira into an individual who never thought for herself, who always sought her parents' approval, and who would never be able to survive on her own if given the chance.

Ayira never met Abeni, but she heard stories from her parents on what she was like. The view was contrasting - while Ayodele praised his daughter, despite all that had happened, Teshi often slandered Abeni in her disgruntled anger that her daughter betrayed them. Normally this would've caused conflict, but for Ayira, she stuck with her mother's viewpoint because her mother was always right, right?

When she was older, Teshi began to push Ayira to have cubs with any rogues that came passing through the territory. It got so intense that Ayira eventually actively sought out a partner, who mated with her. But when nothing happened, Teshi grew disgruntled, and Ayira upset. She tried again with a different rogue lion, but again there was nothing. Teshi passed it off that it was the lion's fault that they couldn't get her daughter pregnant, but Ayira eventually found that she was just not able to carry cubs. The result frightened her deerly - what would Teshi think?

Though it had been years, a pregnant Abeni visited her parents with her mate Kanoni to show off her family. It was Ayira's first time seeing her, and Abeni was a little surprised that she had a sister she knew nothing about. Teshi was outraged of Abeni's selection of mate, and even more upset that she was planning a family with her, and immediately cast her out. Ayira overheard her father try to talk Abeni into talking it over with her mother, but Abeni turned her back on her family once again.

Teshi continued to pressure Ayira to have cubs, and finally she could not take it anymore. Ayira continued to disappear at nights, courting young rogue males into mating with her in an effort to become pregnant at last. During one of her walks, she discovered Nkiru, who had hit her head after becoming lost, and had no recollection of who she was. Ayira saw the opportunity in her, and took her back to Teshi, presenting her as her cub and explaining that she had ended up becoming pregnant and giving birth, but that the young lion in question did not want her to keep Nkiru for herself. It was only that day when he decided to relent his hold on their daughter. Teshi seemingly bought the ploy out of happiness to finally be a grandmother, but Ayira could see the suspicion in her father's eyes.

Now the problem was, how was she going to raise this cub that was not hers?
