Personality: Very condensending, puts herself above all others. She cares only about herself and no one else. She is conniving, and often likes to talk dirty about the other lionesses. She is quick to jealousy and often throws tantrums when she can't get what she wants. Because of her quick-to temper, Gbemisola would be quick to strike out.

History: She was born in a well-to-do pride, sired by her father out of one of the breeding lionesses. His Queen treated Gbemisola and her sisters with disgust, and Gbemisola found she hated being seen as below one's paw, and so she did her best to make herself very appealing when her father made a deal with another lion pride - he would give up one of his daughters to one of the sons. Gbemisola was not chosen, but her older sister, and to say she was pissed was an understatement.

When it was late, she attacked her older sister, brutalizing her and actually taking out her sister's eye. When the father and his son visited Gbemisola's pride to collect her older sister, they were disgusted by the mere sight of her. Quick to appease them, Gbemisola was chosen as a substitute. Smiling in satisfaction, she bade farewell to her family pride to live with her mate and his family for a bit.

They eventually broke away, with several of his family members tagging along. Gbemisola ruled over them, and during the first year she enjoyed the power greatly. But as time went on, she found it was stale, tasteless, and saw that her mate could've had more power if he took over some prides. When she suggested this to him, he snapped at her quickly, and told her no. She lost favor with him, and her mate began paying more attention to one of the other females. Angered, Gbemisola announced that she was pregnant, and all the spotlight returned to her. In fact she received more love since it, but she was still not happy. She needed more power.

One day, she came across a scrawny, older lion named Joe who was making himself out to be a powerful king looking for conquest. Gbemisola felt attracted to the 'power' she felt coming off of him, and one thing led to another, and soon she was pregnant with his cubs. Distressed, Gbemisola did not return to her pride, staying with Joe and begging him to take her to his pride and make her his queen. His true colors eventually came out - he was on the prowl for a gullible female when she showed up, and all he ever wanted from her was their future cubs. He ruled over no one - he was a scrawny, ugly-looking rogue who spun big webs.

Gbemisola hated him from that moment on - when their cubs were eventually weaned of her, she ditched Selfish and Mohatu in Joe's care while she took Asabi for herself, having more compassion for her daughter than she did for her sons. And that was the last she ever saw of Joe.

She was in big trouble when she finally returned, so she spun a lie - she had gotten lost during a hunt, and must've fell behind the pride's moving path. Then she gave birth to Asabi, and was trying to catch up to the rest of the pride. Though the females did not believe her, her mate did, and he allowed her back in pride, but dropped a bomb on her  - she was no longer his Queen. He had taken up another favorite female in her absence.

Asabi lived a horrible life under Gbemisola's care - Gbemisola herself was very abusive to her daughter whenever she stepped out of line. She wanted Asabi to be submissive and obedient to her, but Asabi did not take for it. The final straw for Gbemisola was when she found out her daughter was infertile - at once she disowned Asabi and chased her out, disgusted to have her as a daughter. After years of keeping what happened during those months spent with Joe a secret, Gbemisola's lies came to life, and she was killed for her insolence.
