NOTE: This is an official character from The Lion King: Six New Adventures books. This character is not seen in any of the movies.
The Selfish Lion is the primary antagonist in "The Brightest Star".
He has a very thin, lank build with pale brown fur and a reddish-brown mane.

I think his likeness to Scar is just a lack of design creativity from
book illustrators xD |

He acutally looks like a mix of Mufasa and Scar. Maybe how this Lion
King character was brought to the books was an idea from an
illustrater or something that if you put Mufasa and Scar together you
get selfishness, and because Scar has a bad reputation in the movies
they chose The Selfish Lion to look more like Scar but with a
variation of Mufasa's colors...I don't know its just a theory |

I know. I agree. It is the same body build as Scar. They could have
made it a little different. Even the face looks like Scar though the
colors don't. |

I've never read all the adventure books but how come the selfish lion
and scar have the same body type? Don't you think they could have come
up with any other looks? Though, obviously the colors are not the same
as Scar's colors. |
