Description

Detail Enu (DakotaWereWolf)

Name: Enu (African for 'second-born')

Sex: Female

Parents: Ari and Quanna

Siblings: Baako, Jira, Eshe (full); Tamu

Mate: Judas

Cubs: Kayode, Gwandoya, Lindiwe

Theme Song: "Hello" by Evanescence

Personality: Enu is the more adventerous between her and Baako. She is always the first to want to go on a hunt and is the first to catch a kill. However she is selfish after bringing down her prey as she doesn't really want to share with anyone. She too loves Judas, but unlike Baako, she doesn't hide it and often more than not tries to do things in order to garner his attention. She's jealous of Baako because she thinks that Judas gives her more attention than he gives her. This leads to her having a low self-esteem in regards to her older sister; a jealously only strengthens after Kayode's death.

History: Enu and her sister Jira were born in the second litter Quanna had with Ari. From the day she was born, Enu always had a close relationship with her parents, often tagging along with them. When Quanna was struck in the face and blinded during a hunt, Enu quickly attached herself to her mother's side, always being of assistance whenever she needed it.

Life then changed when Judas entered the picture. He quickly defeated Ari, and Ari bade farewell as he and Quanna left the pride. Enu was distraught over her parents' leaving, and did not want to be around Judas for a long time. When Baako swore her allegiance to Judas, Enu thought she was crazy. But in time, Enu found that Judas wasn't as bad as she had made him out to be in her head, and allowed herself to be called his other favorite female, his first being Baako. Enu was always jealous whenever Judas and Baako were seen together, as she believed that he loved Baako more than he loved her. She and Judas had tried many times to bear a litter of cubs, but the cubs never survived too long on their own.

Eventually Enu gave birth to a live cub she called Kayode. It was a sensation within the pride, and soon led to a good birthing season as not long after Kayode's birth, the other lionesses Judas had mated with were able to bear him cubs as well. Judas spoiled Enu rotten when she bore him Kayode, and in return she reassured her that Judas loved her just as much as he loved Baako. When Kayode and the other cubs were adolescents, Enu gave birth to two more cubs, whom she named Gwandoya and Lindiwe. Right off the bat, she knew something was wrong with Gwandoya, but when she stated so to Judas, he brushed off her claim. It was only confirmed by Rafiki when their pride had stopped off in the Pridelands. Enu tried to assist Gwandoya with all she could, but she had Kayode to look after for as well. Seeing how her younger son was very attached to Lindiwe, she and Judas made her his primary guardian.

At first Judas did not want Kayode to leave the pride, but with Enu's persistance and Judas's own gradual laidback-ness once his other cubs were born, Kayode was able to leave the pride. Enu missed her son, but had Gwan and Lindiwe to look after in the meantime. Some years later, Baako's daughter Zuri returned to the pride and claimed that she had killed Kayode. Zuri was killed afterwards by Ari, but Enu was extremely troubled by the events. Her relationship with Baako was strained, and she began to neglect Lindiwe and Gwan, so much that Baako ended up taking over the role as caretaker. She refused to bear more cubs after what happened.

Enu was finally demoted from her position as Judas's favorite female after a huge fight with Baako, accusing her sister of teaching Zuri to become the lioness she ended up becoming. She also wanted Judas to kick Baako out of the pride. He refused and instead demoted Enu. She grew depressed and withdrawn, and although Judas repeatedly tried to let Enu know that he still loved her, she refused to talk to him again.

Enu eventually dies of a broken heart and a loss of will.
