Name: Lindiwe (African for 'I watch (or guard)')
Sex: Female
Siblings: Gwandoya (full); Kayin, Duni, Erevu, Ayodele, Jalena, Jiro, Kesi, Zuri, Kayode, Ari
Mate: N/A
Cubs: N/A
When Rendered: A VERY LARGE version of Nala from the first movie. Imagine if Nala was about Simba's height - that's how big Lindiwe is. She must NOT be shorter.
Personality: Very resentful of her younger brother. She believes that she can't live a normal life because she has to loom over her brother like a shadow and make sure that he doesn't get hurt. She loves him, but she feels restrained by him, and therefore unable to establish a relationship with her other siblings. She has an emotional attachment to Enu, and the two often do girl-talk. Lindiwe is HUGE, towering over Enu and her aunts, but is slightly shorter than Judas. Because of this, Lindiwe is often an aggressor.
History: Enu gave birth to a second litter by Judas once her first son Kayode was a teenager. The result were two cubs this time, whom she named Lindiwe and Gwandoya. Lindiwe lived a normal existence, unlike her brother who was born with many problems. As Gwandoya grew older, he began to exhibit cub-like signs, and could not properly interact with his siblings. Judas tried his best to cope with his son, but he could not. Noticing that Lindiwe was the only one he was comfortable around, Judas made his daughter Gwan's caretaker. Lindiwe reluctantly took the job, and over time grew resentful of her younger brother, mainly because of how ostracized she felt, even if it was not the case.
Years later, when Zuri returned and was killed by Ari after claiming to have murdered Kayode in cold blood, Enu shut down completely. Distraught over the loss of her first born son, she began to neglect Gwandoya and Lindiwe, causing Baako to step up, and take the two into her care. Lindiwe desperately tried to win her mother's love back, but it had not worked.
Lindiwe had made a friend over the course of the years, a lioness named Timira who had come from a troubled background. While the two had gotten off on the wrong footing at the time, they became very close friends, and spending time with Timira provided an outlet for Lindiwe when she didn't want to watch Gwandoya.
Eventually she becomes sick of watching after her brother that she shouts in her father's face, and abandons the pride with Timira at her side. The two did not make it far in their journey when Timira picked a fight with a male lion and his pride, who asked for them to join. The male, in his rage, chased them down, and Lindiwe sacrificed herself to save her friend.
