Personality: As a cub she was very innocent and full of life. She had morals and was always polite to the other lionesses. However, after Halla was chased away from the pride and found Malka, something inside of her changed. She became a religious zealot with a powerhungry streak in her. She adopted Malka's pride's policy, and as a result she became corrupted, and now seeks to help her pride further its ambitions.

History: Halla was born not long after Simba and Tojo, which came as a surprise for both Mufasa and Sarabi as they hadn't really been planning to have more cubs. Sarabi was absolutely delighted to have Halla, for she always wanted a girl. From a young age, Halla was always social and made good friends in Tama and Kula. She would've made friends with Nala if the lioness cub didn't always spend her time with Simba. So far, life was good for Halla.

And then things changed after Scar took over the Pridelands. His deranged love for Sarabi also began extending to Halla as she developed into a beautiful lioness. Disgusted by the advances, Halla purposely enraged Scar. He sent his hyenas to chase her off, but she was already planning to leave anyhow. She didn't say goodbye to her family.

After being chased from her home, Halla wandered, looking for a new pride to settle in. She eventually bumped into Malka who developed into a handsome adult. Taken by him, Halla went with him back to his pride, where she realized how different they were. Malka's pride, unlike other lion prides, always centered itself on power and enforcing its rule to other prides. Malka's father was overthrown by his uncle and his mate, therefore the pride was led by Malka's deranged relatives. They disagreed with Malka's father's liberal views, and sought to reinforce the policies that originally made the pride how it was.

Malka was raised to become just as powerhungry as his uncle. When he made Halla his favorite female, she too was caught up in the midst of things and became just as powerhungry as her mate. Despite their powerhungry ambitions, Halla and Malka were a very loving couple to each other, absolutely and utterly devoted to each other in every sense of the words. Malka refused to take up any other mates, and he declared that if it came down to it, he would defend Halla with his life. They had a litter of cubs together, but Maalik was the only one who survived.

Maalik was different - both Halla and Malka sensed it, and the difference only made the relationship between father and son worsen once Maalik was older. Malka chased Maalik away, and Halla did not hide her disappointment and sadness from her mate.
