Personality: Very gritty and tough - one should not underestimate him in a fight because Gotto would never give up. He would be determined to win the fight even at his dying breath. He is full of pride, and believes a male needs pride, hence why they should always be strong and tough - think with their muscles instead of their brains, he would say. Sensitivity is foreign to him, and he shows little to no emotion, again going back to his theory that males need to be strong, and one ounce of emotion will be the end of him. He believes hard-work is key to success, and hates anyone who gets an easy one-up in life.

History: Gotto was the second born cub to Mufasa and Sarabi, and was born before his younger brothers Simba and Tojo. After the disappearance of their first son Judas, Mufasa and Sarabi tried again to produce an heir. When Sarabi had given birth to three sons, the two parents were ecstatic, and Gotto was to be named heir to Mufasa. However, Gotto disappeared shortly before the cubs' eyes opened. Mufasa and Sarabi were devasted in the loss of their son, but proceeded ahead by handing down the title to Simba.

Gotto had been taken away from his parents by Scar, Mufasa's jealous brother. Scar wanted to remove Mufasa from power, and in his mind he felt that if he raised Gotto to be a powerhungry lion, he could succeed in that since he was too weak to fight his older brother. He raised Gotto in secret, caring for the cub, but in a crueler way. Scar's methods of raising Gotto scarred the cub and changed his outlook for the rest of his life.

When he was older, Gotto stood up to Scar and called him a coward. The courageous cub believed that Scar did not represent the true essence of being a lion, hence why he no longer wanted to listen to him. Angry, Scar sicced the hyenas Shenzi, Benzai, and Ed on Gotto, but thanks to his small size, Gotto was able to escape them.

Gotto found security in Mega's wandering pride after his uncle gladly accepted him, though unaware that Gotto was his nephew. Gotto grew up to be a strong lion, and his views that first started when he stood up to Scar continued to develop, so much in fact that he often got into a lot of arguments with Mega over his leadership.

Gotto left after a big heated argument, and bumped into another wandering lion named Leo. The two became insperable, sharing a genuine likeness in personality and opinions. It was much longer until Gotto finally fathered Adwin with a pride lioness who had snuck away during mating season. He didn't think much of it, and left her to her own devices.

Gotto and Leo were an infamous duo of trouble, but they also had a unique honor system and did not actively seek out other prides to take over. They felt that they could do just well on their own, and didn't have to rely on others. Also, they weren't that interested in being around females. More time had passed before Gotto fathered another son, Ngozi, but this time with a rogue lioness. He continues to travel across Africa with Leo, not really caring about returning to see the fate of his family, and never knowing that he had two sons.
