Personality: Nkechi does not share Nkiru's enthusiam for wanting to know about anything and everything concerning life - she's more content to just live it. Likewise, she acts like a more responsible sibling than her older sister does, warning her not to get into trouble because that was what her mothers said, and then going along with Nkiru's ideas anyways because she needs to protect her sister. She is less likely to bad talk about her mothers being their backs as she loves them and constantly seeks their approval, never wanting to step out of line because of the disappointment she'll reap from them. Still, she has to bend the rules every now and again just to make sure Nkiru is safe.

History: Abeni and Kanoni wanted cubs, but being females it was impossible for the two of them to conceive their own cubs. So they decided to approach Hasani, who was very supportive of his former crush's relationship with his baby sister, and they argued their plight to him. Hasani agreed without hesitation to help them out, as he loved them and thought the world of them, and if he could help, then that would brighten up his day. As a plus, they agreed that he could spend time with the cubs, on the condition that he was not to be revealed to be their father until they were a little older.

For obvious choices, Abeni was the one who was pregnant by Hasani, and a few months later gave birth to two girls, Nkiru and Nkechi. Kanoni swooped in to take Hasani's place as father, and the two smothered their little ones with love and attention. It was at this point that Abeni was also disowned by Teshi after she found out her daughter's relationship with Kanoni and that she had cubs, though Ayodele tries to visit to see his granddaughters despite Abeni not wanting him to come see them. Nkiru and Nkechi so far have an uneventful life living in their grandfather's pride, under the watchful eye of their aunt Malaika (since Ikeena is long deceased at this point).

Nkechi always stayed by her sister's side to protect her, but the one day she decided not to follow Nkiru when her sister wanted to go forth with one of her ideas, Nkiru vanished. Nkechi was absolutely devastated to lose her sister, and never gave up searching for her even when her mothers finally conceeded that Nkiru was gone forever.
