Personality: The more laidback of the duo. Ikeena's personality is like a mash-up of a surfer dude and a hippie. He is the most relaxed lion you'll ever come across, and he prefers not to fight. He's a big wimp. He's the type of individual who feels as though he's a free bird. He would love to keep on wandering, though he doesn't know where he's going. He just likes the freedom of things. He is also a clown, and has a quirky sense of humor. However, hidden beneath his laidback and funny demeanor, is an insecure lion who constantly berates himself for feeling like a failure. Being unable to live up to his father's expectations really had an impact on Ikeena, so much that he didn't hesitate in running away, and instead changed the lettering of his name.

History: A couple years after he rescued Nala, Ni and his mother Chipo found a lion pride and took over. Ni took one of the lionesses, named Isha, as his favorite female, and mated with her. There, Ikeena (whose birth name was Ikenna) was born, and Ni could not have been any happier. He expected his son to grow up into a fine leader and lion. It was not long after this that Ni ran into Sarafina, who was trying to find someone to take in her son, in fear that Simba would kill him since he was fathered by Scar. Ni took the cub in, and raised him alongside Ikeena.

When they grew older, Ikeena began noticing that his father seemed to want to pay more attention to Reno. It was then he discovered that his father was becoming frustrated in his son for lacking the key leadership qualities he wanted for him. As a result, Ikeena became very insecure, but tried to hide it by acting as though nothing was wrong.

Reno knew, however, and asked Ikeena if he wanted to leave with him. Ikeena quickly agreed, and both lions left around the age of 3. During one of their travels, Ikeena and Reno came across a lioness in heat. Though Reno showed no interest, Ikeena did, and he snuck off during the night and mated with her. He asked her to join them, but for unknown reasons she did not. Saddened but shrugging it off, Ikeena left. It was after this encounter that Ikeena and Reno came across Judas's pride. Obviously, they were unwelcomed and left as soon as they came, but soon they found they had a tagalong in Zuri, who left her pride in hopes of becoming strong enough to kill her brother. Unknown of these intentions, Ikeena and Reno took her in. Not long afterwards, they came across another cub, Adwin, who had been abandoned by his family. Feeling sympathetic, they took him in too. A third cub, named Chari, joined them after his mother died. Unbeknowist to Ikeena, Chari was his son by Hania.

Zuri, Chari, and Adwin, once they were older (at the age of 3), left the rogue male lions. Ikeena felt sad to see them go, but unlike Reno, understood that they couldn't be with them all their life. He and Reno were also joined in their travels by a rogue lioness named Sauda who had connections with Zira. Ikeena liked Sauda and was nice to her, hoping to get her interested in him. However, he quickly realized that she was intrigued by Reno, and quickly stopped trying to 'butter' her up. When Sauda became pregnant by Reno, Ikeena was a bit shocked because of Reno's supposed vow, and then was angry with his brother after Reno, in disgust, began avoiding Sauda. When Rena was born, Ikeena became a temporary father-figure in her life all while trying to repair the relationship between Reno and Sauda. They eventually made up, and Reno and Sauda went on to bear more cubs.

Inspired by the events that unfolded from this, Ikeena decided to leave to go find Hania and start a pride with her. Unknown to him, she was long dead. Ikeena eventually did come across a pride led by a lioness named Malkia. They had lost most of their pride after a drought led to the deaths of many of their pride mates, including their parents. Needing a male to protect and lead them, the lionesses quickly accepted Ikeena into the pride; however Malkia was far from being friendly to him, and reacted coldly towards him while he stayed with them. After a while Malkia did soften up to Ikeena, and he decided to make her his favorite female. Fang, Malkia's sister, played bodyguard to the both of them.

Ikeena once more got to play adopted parent when Fang brought back a lost cub named Abeni. She said that the cub wandered off, but also admitted that she was saved by Fang's former lover, a lioness solely named 'Yellow'. Fang told Ikeena that they needed to pretend Abeni was their cub in order to not have her sisters ostracize her for being interested in females. Ikeena accepted the deal without further insistence, and raised Abeni alongside Fang. Ikeena's role in Abeni's life was soon overshadowed by Faith, a lioness who began to have relations with Fang. Even still, Abeni regarded him warmly as a father.

Trouble between his and Ayodele's pride commenced after Abeni went back to them. They accused Ikeena and Fang of poisoning their daughter. Though they barred Abeni from seeing them, the young adolescent lioness defied her parents' wishes and went to live with her foster family. Ikeena had ten cubs with the lionesses in his pride, with the exception of Fang. He tried to be the best father he could be for them, to make up for Ni's neglect of him. Ikeena also kept peace with other lion prides.

At the age of fifteen, Ikeena falls off a cliff while trying to cross to the other side. He lives to see them as adults. His daughter Malaika will succeed him as leader of the pride.
