Personality: Rhaenys is quite like her mother, quiet but smart. She tends to be the voice of reason amongst Ikeena's cubs and is joking referred to as the 'little mother'. It doesn't bother her all that much that she is lost amongst her large group of siblings, in fact, she doesn't like being the center of attention. She is a self-appointed care-giver for Nubia and Daemon when they were all cubs (although the latter just regards her as a bossy know-it-all) and so was deeply affected by her brother's disappearance. As she gets older, she gets a little more open but never quite loses her big sister attitude. She is very focused on solving other people's problems and therefore is prone to neglecting her own feelings and problems.

History: Rhaenys was the first born cub of Dalia and Ikeena, she was amongst the first of the cubs born after Ikeena took over leadership of the pride. Her birth, and the births of her many siblings, were during a rare time of plenty for the pride when they could settle down and focus on their cubs for a while.

Rhaenys, from a young age, took up the role as a care giver to the younger cubs in the pride and looked up to her father as a role model. She acted a lot like her mother and would sometimes chip in when her mother and father were discussing the fate of the pride. However, more often than not, she was among her other siblings trying to defuse arguments and act as a voice of responsibility when the adults were otherwise engaged.

However, life changed the day that Daemon disappeared. Rhaenys knew her brother loved adventure and would often wander off but she never believed that they may accidentily leave without him. They searched for Daemon but he was nowhere to be found and no one took it harder than their mother and Nubia so Rhaenys found herself stepping up to help them through it.

Eventually, when Rhaenys reached adulthood and after her father died, she felt that she must leave Ikeena's Pride. After bidding farewell to her mother and sister, Rhaenys struck out on her own.

For a while, she wandered and enjoyed the freedom of being a rogue, she was used to life on the move and the only difficulty was trying to feed herself without the pride to back her up. Soon though, she stumbled on another wandering pride led by a lioness named Ari. The pride welcomed all who wanted a place in their ranks and Rhaenys did miss the companionship of a pride and so joined them and was warmly welcomed.

However, she soon spotted a problem within the ranks of Ari's Pride, namely the lion Lutalo. He kept to himself and the rest of the pride gave him a wide berth. Later, Jamil admitted to her that Lutalo was unstable and despite his best efforts, there was nothing he could do for the younger lion and he believed that Ari might have to chase him away for fear of him attacking other pride members. Rhaenys was horrified but an idea sparked in her mind. Despite Jamil's warnings, she decided that she would help Lutalo, that maybe Jamil's more heavy-handed methods weren't what Lutalo really needed and maybe he just needed patience and friendship.

At first, Lutalo barely reacted to her presence, ignoring her whenever she came over to him with food or to talk. Then, when he realised she wasn't going to leave him be, he began to get somewhat violent with her. He never really hurt her, she was always fast enough to avoid him but he did snap and growl at her but then Jamil would step between them before any real damage was done. Finally, when she still refused to leave him be, he grew to accept her presence.

Slowly, the more Rhaenys was able to tease Lutalo out of his shell, the more she came to like him. She found that whenever Lutalo was around her he was quite awkward and it just came off as adorable to her. Slowly, she began to have feelings for him and believed that he could be a better lion if she stayed with him.
