Personality: She can be often described as a very friendly and happy. She has a tendency to be kind from time to time, mainly with younger cubs, and others like her friends. Though she pokes fun a lot and makes several jokes (often at her or others' expense), that's her way of showing she cares about her friends. But, underneath her tough, happy-go-lucky, tomboy exterior, she often finds herself at a loss with who she is, or how she's supposed to be. For the longest time, she was confused about who she truly was, but eventually, she learned to accept herself for her, and now embraces her loud and friendly nature whole-heartedly. On a side note, she is known to have a temper when she gets annoyed. Most of the time, she isn't, however when she is, you might want to stay back. She can have patience for cubs, but for older lions, specifically ones who complain a lot, she won't hesitate to tell them off.

History: Tufani was originally born to a huntress and a rogue in the Fahari Pride. Though her birth wasn't prohibited, the king allowed it anyways, to help his pride expand. When she was born, she was born alongside her brother, Wingu. As she grew, she became very social, though most of the other cubs didn't like her because of her different pelt. One day, after another attempt, she was sitting by herself when she noticed another cub by herself. After going up to her, she soon befriended the grumpy cub, named Matumaini, and after a while, the two became inseperable.

As she grew, she gained more and more lionesses criticizing her and telling her she needed to be something different, This was a big part of her life, because it affected her in more ways than one. Though she never told her friend about it, as she didn't want to upset her, still, it went to her head, and she doubted who she was. It was after thinking for a while when she finally decided to stop trying to live up to the standards of others, and to be herself.

At the age of a teen, her brother was told to leave the pride and never return. Their mother refused and stood up to the king, but unfortunately, it led to a fight. She was killed for 'insubordination' and the king carried on with the exile. Desperate to stay with the little bit of family she had left, Tufani left in the night with her brother. For a long time, they traveled, looking for a pride to take them in. All hope seemed lost until they came upon a lush land known as the Pridelands.

They encountered King Simba, as well as Queen Nala, and his then slightly younger daughter, Kiara. After explaining their situation, the two were allowed access into the pride, where they eventually bulked up in size and strength. Wingu seemed very content in the pride, however Tufani still thought about their old pride. Right before the war between the Pridelanders and the Outlanders, Tufani left to seek out her long lost friend, and bring her to safety.

She traveled for about a year and a half before managing to find her old pride again. Matumaini, now an adult, was surprised to see her here, and was extremely willing to leave with her in order to leave the pride. As they began to walk on, Tufani told her of the Pridelands. And after discussing it, the two decided not to return, but instead, to continue on traveling, where they could be free and make their own rules.

Relation to TLK: Knew Simba, Nala, and Kiara, lived at Priderock for a while.
