Bio:
Yin was born and raised in the rainforests of South China. When she was 2 years old, her parents tried to force her to marry a leopard she didn't love.
But since her parents just happened to be the Emperor and Empress of the jungle, she had no choice. She was prepared to go through with her duty until she met a fine young rogue lion named Kopa. He was an African lion, and was only in Asia for a visit, but she fell head over paws in love with him. When it was his time to stowaway on the ship back to Africa, Yin went with him, and never looked back.
She stayed with Kopa in the forests of Zaire for a year, and became pregnant. She left to find a den and have her cubs. She didn't tell Kopa what was going on (even if she wanted to, she couldn't...a little language barrier prevents she and Kopa from proper communication). While she was gone, Simba came to the forest to collect Kopa and Doppelganger and took them to the Pridelands.
Unfortunately, she gave birth to stillborn hybrid cubs. The breeding didn't take this time. She was brokenhearted, but she hoped the next breeding would produce live cubs. She was a bit worried when she returned and couldn't find any sign of Kopa or his okapi friend, but after a couple of weeks, Doppelganger returned to retrieve her.
She reunited with Kopa in the Pridelands, and met his family. Though Nala and Kiara find Yin positively delightful, Simba isn't too pleased that his son is in an inter-species relationship with the Indochinese leopard, who can't even speak their language with the exception of a few broken-English phrases. Yin can tell Simba doesn't seem to like her, but she doesn't understand why.
Yin never reveals the sad news about the stillborn cubs to anyone but Rafiki (who, for some reason, is gifted with the ability to speak and understand Chinese). Kopa didn't even know she was pregnant.
