Since the last news, there has been added :

- New poll
- New Fanfics (I think)
- New wallpapers
- New links

- 10 new articles. Among them, I added two articles myself, and one talk about the new Kingdom Hearts 2 video game, in which The Lion King universe appears. If you want to see Lion King in very good 3D, you've got to see this article ;)

- New 'music video' section. Now, everyone can send its own Lion King music video! For more information, just go into the music video section. (link in the Fan section, in the left menu) For now, there is only one music video (from Greykitty)

Just as I did for Balto Source, there has been a big change with the fan art system.
A usual complain about the fan arts, was the fact that they were very rarely updated, especially on The Lion King Source.
So I changed the way the fan arts are managed, and now, instead of updating all the galleries at the same time, each gallery will be updated directly after having been checked!
So, the fan arts will still be checked before being displayed on the site, BUT you won't have to wait a month to see them! Count probably 1 day or 2.

I've added many things on The Lion King Source these days, but did not have time for writing a news.
So here's what is new on the site :

- New article system. Now, everyone can send his own articles on the site! There's already one in the Lion King 1 article section, sent by Skyla.

- New poll

- Added a huge list of Lion King sites, in the links section. (around 50 links!)

- Added a 'random' link at the bottom of the left menu on the site.

- Huge changes on the shout boxes : I've made great changes in the code behind. Now you can choose to display the shout boxes only in the page, in [...]

Thanks to Crocodile Dundee, the translation of the Lion King Source pages has begun! You'll find three translated pages for the moment : Information -> General, Scenario and Multimedia -> Musics.
There's also another addition on the site : the fanfics system from Balto Source has been fully included on The Lion King Source, so that you can now send your fanfics, I'll be able to add them without any problem!
And, there's currently one fanfic that I added for the occasion. Check it!

This time, it's me (steet) who did the fan art update. So, you'll find the new drawings in the fan art section, as well as a new fan art of the week. There are a few new wallpapers. Finally the poll has been changed.

 

This has been a long time since I didn't update this site myself. Well, it will not be for today, again.
It's just that I can't seem to get enough will to work on it. I feel like there are so many things about The Lion King to tell that I'm discouraged. I already said that this site would be a secondary site, and I still give the priority to Balto Source. (after all, The Lion King doesn't need to be more popular than it is, unlike Balto)

GamesOfLight : I updated the fan arts on the site, and I changed the 'fan art of the week'.

steet : UPDATE : There was a small problem on the Lion King Source, with the creation of the galleries : the galleries were created in the wrong list (on balto source) instead of the list of artists on the lion king source. So if you couldn't create a gallery because of that, it should work now.

 

This is kind of a big news to me : from now on, I won't be the only one working on the site.

I have given GamesOfLight, a french fan, access to everything on the site. So he will be able to update things like fan arts for me!
He already updated fan arts and wallpapers, and he changed the 'fan art of the week'.
And don't worry, he is really trustful, and he spends a LOT of time on the site. The only reason you must don't know him, you english people, is that he can't speak much english.
Everyone should say good luck to him, because it's all but an easy task ;)

As I did for my other site, I have made big changes in the fan art, wallpapers and links systems, so it will be much easier for me to update these sections.

I have also added a link in the fan art and wallpapers section to a topic on the forums, which is a guide very detailed on how to send your creations on the site. There was also a bug in the wallpapers section which prevented from sending wallpapers - but no one mentioned it, so I only discovered it today...

Hi, Lion King fans! Here is my site entirely dedicated to one of the most known masterpieces from Walt Disney!
I am already the happy owner of a site directed at another animation masterpiece, which is Balto. Considering I had already a fan site, I decided to make this site based on my Balto site, with a design change and different content. The french version of the site was started already two months ago. However, I don't have too much free time, so I temporaly used automatic translations for the content.
