I was checking the Disney Second Screen: The Lion King Edition and I found out that Mheetu's conecpt art is actually SIMBA's earlier concept art. Did they change Simba's concept to Mheetu or something alike?

There is an article by Werebereus called "The Newly revealed 'Simba' Concept..." in the articles section of the first Lion King movie. That should explain everything. (I would link it, but the silly website thinks it's spam)

Basically, no, it was and still is Mheetu's concept art, but it has been edited and prepped for Disney Second Screen. In the article I mentioned above it also has an email from the original artist of the concept art (Thom Enriquez) that it IS actually Mheetu, not Simba. I may be able to link that though:

No,Mheetu was a character that was dropped,or abandoned before the production of The Lion King,hence Simba's concept art wasn't changed to Mheetu's. -Celtic Kate
