History:
Dandelion was born into the city of Whinnyapolis to her unnamed parents. Not much is known about her family, other than they were very loving and had many cats, which is what inspired Dandelion to start rescuing strays. Dandelion earned her cutie mark after rescuing her first cat.

Over the years, Dandelion's "collection" of cats grew to be large and consist of bigger and more dangerous cats. However, due to her kind nature, most of the feline beasts became gentle to the touch. After moving herself and her"pets" away from Whinnyapolis to the outskirts of Hoofington, her new home became a tourist attraction for the foreign. 

Among the tourists was an another animal lover, Fluttershy. Dandelion befriended Fluttershy instantly, bonding over their love of animals. Fluttershy was surprised that Dandelion wasn't bothered by all of the tourists flooding her home. Dandelion paid no mind to them as long as they didn't try to touch the animals without her permission.

Although they were good friend's, Fluttershy sometimes questioned Dandelion's "taste" in certain foods. Because the larger cats were carnivore's, Dandelion found that being an omnivore instead of herbivore, like most ponies, was easier. In actuality, Dandelion's "meat" was really tofu.
