History:
If there was anyone who loved the quietness of a library and the peace and bliss one would get from reading a book, look no further than Scholar Hoof. Scholar Hoof is the epitome of "old lady librarian" and "crazy cat lady", given that the cats are removed and books are put in their place.

Due to similar looks, it was thought that Scholar Hoof and Sunset Shimmer had biological connections through being sisters. Which wasn't entirely impossible, as it was once hinted that Scholar Hoof's father, who was M.I.A for her birth and childhood, was a unicorn who had simply left Scholar's mother for a different mare.

It was duly noted that the only other relations she had with ponies was with Lady Justice, who was her aunt. They worked closely together, Lady Justice having given Scholar Hoof a job as her assistant. That being said, Scholar Hoof would often travel away from home to Ponyville whenever Mayor Mare needed input or assistance from Lady Justice.
