Personality: Despite her typically elegent looks and graceful facade she puts on in public, Maledic is much more of a goofball than she looks: definetely more like her father, Maledic loves to create chaos. Whenever she's not training (or doing) royal duties, she's goofing off and having a laugh with her friends. Because of self confidence issues however, she feels that she has to supress them to be a real princess. The public never see this side of her, and only see her as a quiet, modest princess.

History:

After his reformation, Discord returned to his status as a god of chaos in Equestria, although restrained far more than before. He acted as a means of controlling the chaotic magic of Equestria, like a vessel to harbour the magic within him. Though he is restricted to what he can do, he still manages to play pranks on ponies from time to time.

But of course, Discord isn't immortal. Sure, his lifespan is much longer due to chaotic magic, but it can't keep him living forever like alicorn magic can. Eventually, he's going to die.

He needed an heir.

So, obviously with both Celestia and Discord in agreement, Maledic was born. While she recieves training from Discord and Celestia so she'll be suited for her role as the goddess of chaos when it comes, she lives in Ponyville with Fluttershy: Celestia is too busy with duties as a princess to take care of her and she doesn't trust Discord at all (even if he's 'like-totally-100%-reformed-not-evil")

Growing up as a smiling goofball full of energy, maledic learned many skill from her three parents: from how to present yourself as a royal family member, to caring for a grizzly bear or turning clouds into cotton candy. She had the best of both lives, and knew that no matter how difficult things got with her biological parents, she'd always have Fluttershy in Ponyville to care for her. Even when she grew older, she always returned to ponyville to visit her gentle carer whenever she could.
