History:
Cloudsdale-reared, Pom Pom is as fragile as snowflakes themselves. Her birth parents are unknown, as they kicked her to the curb when she was a young toddler. In turn, she was taken in by her neighbors. Pom Pom finds herself most safe among the clouds in the sky. She hates having to travel on the ground and avoids it as much as possible.

She had heard stories about pegasi flying down to the ground and never coming back up. However, another resident of Cloudsdale proved the stories wrong. Fluttershy, a pony with a similar personality, had coaxed Pom Pom to fly down to the ground. Of course, Pompom refused and locked herself in her home for three days.

Fortunately, Fluttershy convinced Pom Pom to leave her home and visit her cottege outside of Ponyville, a small town resting on the ground. Pom Pom was hesitent, but agreed to join her. Pom Pom never did go into the actual town, rather she often stayed the night at Fluttershy's house instead, cuddling squirrels and bunnies in her sleep and flying with birds in her waking hours.
