Persona: Kai is Calm, she isn't very wise but she always knows the right things to say, she is a great stratagest and general in Her fathers Army. She is an isolated girl, very timid and shy, this turns around completely on the battlefeild. when in she becomes ruthless and emotionless, however she rarely aims to kill just to injure. Kai is called the mouse amongst her family all in good fun of course due to the fact she is very meek and untrained when around sicail groups, she is usually the one hiding in the back waiting for the chance to get out of the crowd.

Likes: Dancing with her sisters Sun Shang Xiang and Fa Mulan, Listening to Her brothers fight over funny things, Traveling to the 3 Allied Kingdoms, Studing Her Lessons, Archery, Long horse rides, Make Overs with Diao Chan. Star Gazing, Dreaming of a Land at peice with one another.

Dislikes: death, War, Shima Yi and how he be-littles all those around him, how most of her friends are constantly at war with one another. Shan-yu for hurting Fa Mulan and her Husband Shang yeas ago. The fact that he as an Elder sister missing out there in the world. Having to speak infront of large crowds.

History:

Early Life:

Sun Kai was the last Child Sun Jian had, It was a Quick Fling with Fa Li, this event killed his long lasting friend ship with Fa Zhou for  years. However they two split familys would often let their childern see each other as they were all still family. Kai was the runt not only in age but in build she was shorter than her 4 sisters, and scranier. Often the Butt of His brothers Jokes. As a young child Kai was never the prettiest girl, she was plan, never saw the need in make up or frillie things like her older sisters, Fa Mulan was the one who was most like her in this area and would be sure to tell her she was beautiful anyway. Kai grew up greatly admiring Mulan as she didn't get to see here as much as she would like, as Mulan lived far away from Wu. Lady Wu her Step mother would read to Kai about great wars and battles and the heroes in them, Kai greatly wished that one day she would be just like them however only men could fight then, so in her childhood it was a distant dream. If you ever wanted to find Kai around the Main City of the Wu kingdoms You would have to Look for her Brother Sun Ce and his Friend Zhou Yu, the two boys were an unseperable Pair and Young Kai their shadow. Sun Ce was loud and Boisterious drawing in everyones attention and Zhou Yu was Quiet and Swave the one the grown up respected together they were a great pair and Role models for Little Kai's eyes. Sun Ce was an Protective but Careless Brother and Kai would often get into trouble around the village due to that. Zhou Yu acted as Sun Ce's second pair of eyes and would step in just in time. This acts and Accedents would often lead to  Sun Quan one of the eldest brother Lectures to the three of them. This was a hard time period for her as it was around the time when her eldest sister dissapeared.

Pre-Teens:

Kai was now becmoning a Teen but right now it was awkward for her, she was no longer a child but she wasn't a teen yet. All of her siblings were quiet older than herself by now, so she no longer was taken everywhere like she used to be. it was up to her to make her own friends. Kai found this hard as she was not an people person not at all. So she spent most of her days at the river with her Father old Sword which he had given to Sun Yi, whom rejected the hamy down and handed it over to Kai. Lady Wu had been secretly training all her daughters on how to fight, Kai and Sin Shang Xiang could work weapons better than Chen could. While Having these training hours by the rivier, Kai was unaware that Zhou Yu would often watch her, however not for long as he didn't want Sun Ce' to know about it for have Kai's secret found out. In the Summer While Attending school, Kai finally met some friends in her age range, Lu Xun and the two Qaio Sisters. The two Qiaos were older by 2 and 1 years however Lu Xun was exactly her age, the four of them could not be seen almost 24/7 with each other each one fairly quiet in their own way but all 3 more socail than Kai. Kai had finally found a place to fit in. In these same 3 years, A war was raging with the Huns. Kai got word that Mulans Father Fa Zhou had been drafted, even though he had aged well he had an old injury that would be the death of him on the field. Hearing from Mulans Letters that she and their mother were worried about him, Kai went and Pleaded with Sun Jain to offer to go in his sted, as Sun Jain was a seasoned and Remarkable FIghter. Sun Jian went to the Fa's and Talked with Fa Zhou. fa Zhou thanked Sun Jian for the thought, but bitterly rejected his plea after much prosting from Fa li and Fa Mulan. Sun Jain retern to Wu in defeat. Not long after Kai heard that Mulan was missing, and fell into a deep depression Mulan had been the sister she most related to, also she had already had one sister missing, but two? it was just to much. She isolated herself from her friends and Family. At this time the Sun Siblings and Family grew closer  because of the Efforts used to Help Kai cope.  When the war ended Kai was noted of Mulan safty and Role in it. She had done it she had broken the wall down and now wemon could fight, Kai was the first one to great Mulan on her return with a hug and manny tears. Mulan her Half sister was now her biggest hero and she looked to mulan with sharp eyes and lsitend in more on what she had to say, like a little lost puppy needless to say this was amusing for all.

Teens: (current)

In her Teens Kai was now fully skilled at Fighting, Trained  Swordswoman, Archer, Pikesman, Spearman, and other odd verious weaponds, not perfectly however she would ofter drop her weapons in duels with her siblings or cut her self while swinging. But she was getting better. kai watched as all her other siblings would ride out to small battles along side her father. However she was never aloud to go. this was Dishearting for Kai, but she had one person she could turn to and that was mulan. Kai begged Mulan to take her with her into One battle just one, that she would prove herself. Mulan reluctantly agreed and took Kai with her. It was agenst some rebal forces call the Yellow Turbans. Kai fought at her best but it was not good enough and she was wounded on the battle feild. Mulan lost sight of Kai and Kai had to flee on her own somewhere safe. never being good at Direction Kai found herself lost in the land and hadn't a clue where she was headed. Mulan Returned to Fa Li and the Sun family in regreat Sun Jain was furious with the Fa's for letting this happend but Mulan spoke out and told him if he had just let her fight to begin with this even would have never happend. Whilet his meeting was going on Sun Ce and Zhou Yu had been listening Intently and had desided they would look for Kai themselves, Mulan heard of their plan and soon She too along with Shang were ehelping them with their search. All the while Kai had wandered herself into Rouge teritory. The peasents and villagers of the area seemed scared and skittish. She wondered why, but she learnd soon as she was captured buy soliders and taken to their ruler, Dong Zhuo a big man with an evil scowl on his face. He made her a servant for his "daughter" Diao Chan. Daio chan was a spoiled woman who had gotten everything she had ever wanted and had no problem with an extra slave. However over time, Kai and Daio became friends and Daio went to Dong Zhuo asking that she be made her sister. Daio Chan and Kai were laughed out of the room. Good news was that Daio Chan gave Kai as much freedom as she needed and was plaining secretly was to get Her back home. Daio Chan found a plan that was full proof, she Sent Kai with her Adoptive brother Lu Bu and Ruthless rouge warrior who had his name known across the land. Lu bu didn't want to do this, to be seen with such a weekling let alone transporting her back into enemy teritory, but Daio Chan had a hold on him as his sister and he did as told.

While Traveling with Lu Bu, it was Quiet and Kai was scared she had heard many aweful stories about this man, he was a cold hearted killer and one who rarely lost battles, she was leading him right to her family but having him take her home. this was not good. Kai figured she had to get Daio Chans Edge on him in oder to prevent anything bad happening to her family. So she step out of her zone and began to talk to him. She would ask Questions ,simple ones about his family, why he fought and much more, she'd rarely get answer just grunts...if even that. Over time she begain geting "shut ups" or "go to sleeps" from him. One day while they were traveling they ran into a small battle being held agenst Dong Zhuo's alleis, Lu Bu being a Part of Dong Zhuo's convoy had to aid them. Kai could fight but not very much so she stayed close to Lu Bu, which was hard to do as he was fast and fought wildly around the feild. Once the battle was ended the set out again but Lu Bu was acting Differently. Kai pesterd and Protested until she found out why. He was Injured Kai offered to Dress his Ingury but was rejected. So she waited until he was alseep and then went to help, while trying to path the cut on his stomache Kai Woke Lu Bu, hwo looked displeased, Knowing the Ingury need to be dressed Kai grabbed one of the Heavy armored Shoulder plates he had and hit him over the head with it knocking him out. She dressed his cut and stayed up the rest of the night knowing that in the morning she would have to run for her life, but atleast now she knew he would not bleed to death and that his cut would heal. In the Morning when Lu Bu awoke he was groggy but soon remebered the night before. He jumped up and looked all over for Kai he could see a tuff of her hair from behind a rock and went over to her. His shadow covered over her and she came out of hidding, Bracing herself ready to die then and their. Closign her eyes we waited the to attacked. But nothing happend. Lu Bu chuckled, and then that chuckled turned into a laugh. Kai opened one eye and looked up at him. This gaint of a man tanding at at least 6'7, this ruthless killer, demon of the battle feild was...laughing? He looked down at her a smirked Kai opened both eyes and stood up straight looking up at him. He told her she was bold and brave for pulling a a stunt like that. From then On she had His Repect and Trust. Over time  a strong bond grew between them, and Odd bond, a Bond neither would admit to out loud.

Eventually Lu Bu, Due to this Bond began to worry about his reputation, and Dropped Kai off int he Wei Kingdom who were allies to Wu at the time. The Ruler Cao cao took her in when she wandered into the city, confused as to why Lu Bu just Dropped her in the area he didn't say a word to her when he rode off. Kai new of Wei and their Alliance with Wu and her father so she knew she was safe. Cao Cao sent his Brothers Wife Zhen Ji to take car eof Kai until which time they could take her back to Wu. Zhen ji was very motherly towards Kai even though she wa sno Older than Mulan, Her husband Cai Ren was musch older than her, But Zhen ji claimed they were in love. While in Wei Cao Pi Cao cao's son had his eyes set on Kai within her first few days there he would buy her girfts and treat her to dinner, take her on horse rides, and teach her to fight. Kai found he was nice, But she couldn't  push Lu Bu out of her mind, why was that? Cao Pi felt this although he didn't know who the man was that was stuck in his crushes mind he knew that that man was a problem. Cao Pi needed a Wife and He found none was as Beautiful as Kai was. It's true over the Years Kai had grown up quite a bit some would argue her looks could almost rival the Qiaos. Time Pasted and Kai took to an General name Xaihou Dun, Cao cao's Cousin, who was older than her, almsot as drasticly as Coa Ren was to Zhen Ji, but Kai was swept off her feet by him just in his personality. She would often talk to Zhen ji about this who found it cute. Cao Pi became Hostile to Xiahou Dun who had begain spending more time with Kai, But Xaihou quickly pe thte oby back in his place, and then steped out of the way leaving Kai once agian very confused. End the end Kai asked to leave Wei were as for a while she had been asking to stay longer due to her friendships there, but now she was hurt and wanted to leave. Cao Pi took her Home to Wu. The journy from there was short, And Cao Pi could not win Kai's heart, although she had his, she found him far to spoiled for her nad he was vain as well. When the two returned to Wu they were greated by the Suns, Fa Li, and Fa Mulan Happily along with The Two Qiaos, Lu Xun and Zhou Yu. tension was great the moment Coa Pi gave an some what heart felt Romantic on his part, Goodbye to Kai. Zhou Yu and Coa Pi at that moment became rivals. When all the happt reunions were done Zhou Yu pulled Kai to the side and Confessed his feelings for her. How he had blamed himself for her getting lost. over the next few months the two grew closer and closer and when Kai was 16 Zhou Yun asked Sun Jain if he Could marry here. Kai Accepted. This ralation ship lasted 2 years but Kai left when Zhou also asked The younger  Qiao, Xiao Qiao to marry him as well. Kai was hurt but at this time it was ok for men to have more than 1 wife. She asked him to make a choice, Zhou Yu found her to be over racting and pushed aside her demand, so Kai left him, and her father did not protest. Now Kai is still single but travels around learning how to fight, she often visits Mulan and the friends she made on her pervious journy, and because of this is skills on the battle feild have greatly improved.

So Sun Kia is an Fan character for both Mulans world the the Koie Warriros world. I mashed the two stories together because they to me seemed to fitt eahc other rather nicely,  same Living area just different time periods for for fanfiction and fantasy i mashed the time periods into one.

What you see as an Head shot Is not a render, it's a drawing, although Mulans face as traced with tracing paper and the pose based off of an Manga a friend had so it's not 100% Original, so i do not take full creadit for that. Kai's looks are based off of the Wu Kingdoms wardrobe int he Koei Games however I kept in lin with Mulans Kimono like clothing and not so heavy on the armor theme of the Koei games. everyone save Mew Sai and Sun Kai mentioned here belong to either Koei or Disney, as are based off of Real Historical Figures.
