Personality: She is a very intelligent and charming bird. Her silly mannerisms and coquettishness are enough to soften the toughest of guys. She has an astounding zest for life combined with a great sense of humor. She loves to laugh. She is also mischievous. Sometimes she can be a bit bossy. She is social, and can be pretty talkative at times. 

History: When she was young, she lived with her parents and brother near Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The nest they lived in was in a cliff face a few miles away from a farm, and Anayeli's parents often brought back crops from the farm. One day, her father didn't come back. He had been shot by the farmer who ran the farm. The remainder of the family relocated. Eventually they split up and went their own ways. The mother found a new mate. The brother (he wasn't too bright) suffered the same fate as his father. Anayeli was captured by smugglers who took her back to Rio de Janeiro. It didn't take long for her to adjust to life in Rio. All the bright lights, the colors of Carnival, the scenery and lovely views, all this fascinated her, 'cause she wasn't used to such things back in that cliff near Santa Cruz. Sometimes she escaped from her cage. She soon was a hit with the guys, including Nigel. Not much later, she saw a couple of blue birds in a cage in a room in the smuggler's slum. It was hanging from the ceiling, and the two were trying to escape. Days later, Anayeli was loaded into a van and taken to an old airfield outside Rio. Not too long into the flight, when Blu and Jewel released the other birds from their cages, she was one of those that escaped. About a week after the flight, the smugglers have been caught and jailed, and now Anayeli roams free in Rio.
