Personality: She is easily upset, as well as rather shy and sensitive. She is skittish around guys, as she is somewhat scared of them. Other than this she is kind-hearted, and her redeeming quality is her sense of mind. She is very reserved, is very quiet and hardly ever talks around others.

History: Fareeda hatched at the Al Wabra Wildlife Preservation in Qatar in the Middle East, as part of an international Spix's macaw breeding program to reintroduce them to Brazil. There she lived for about 11 years until a male was found in São Paulo, Brazil, and she was shipped there. Soon after she arrived at the institution (the Lymington Foundation) she was put in the male's enclosure. He was a tough bird, and not exactly kind. He beat her, and she was terrified. Not long after, Fareeda followed through with what she was brought here to do, though she was loath to do so, and did not want to become a mother yet. About a month later, the eggs were taken and put in an incubator. Fareeda escaped from the building, and headed away, not caring where she ended up. She flew eastward, and later ended up in Rio de Janeiro. Once there, she landed in an old abandoned building outside of the city and cried, regretting having followed through back in São Paulo. For some time afterward, she avoided others, and showed signs of acute anxiety and fear. Fareeda was scared of guys for months. Whenever someone tried to talk to her, she would fly off in fear. During the next year, she tried to cope and deal with it. She still had anxiety, and had much difficulty sleeping at night. She eventually was found by someone and put in a bird sanctuary, where she befriended Jewel despite the language barrier. A few months later, Fareeda was still showing signs of fear and anxiety, but less than months before. She is still somewhat afraid of guys. Eventually she will make more friends and fall in love with someone. She doesn't want to be a mother again, but she might change her mind when she meets the one. Later she did; she fell in love with the male from her past.
