There are about 150 Spix Macaws that form the '' 2 '' giant of this poster. The number of Spix's Macaws in this formation seems somehow indirectly observe the ratio of their actual approximate numbers in the preservation centers across the globe - all grouped together (the species being completely extinct in the wild since years).

A musical favorite!

The film's director Carlos Saldanha became interested in the potential of Bruno Mars and assuming a role of his next film, seeing it perform in a Saturday Night Live of broadcast. Having met and worked with Bruno Mars, Carlos Saldanha decided to make some revisions Roberto's character to make the least '' macho '' and so faithfully gave personality to the singer.

A great tribute!

The boat that our characters take on the Amazon River is named "Céu Azul" - meaning 'Blu Sky' 'in Portuguese, a reference to the production company.

Fernando password?

During initial commissioning developement of the film, old concepts revealed more pronounced Fernando screen presence and in the heart of the scenario. The adopted son of Linda and Tulio was actually accompany them on their trip to the Amazon to assist them in their search for Spix's Macaws. For some reason that does not seem to be clear, the screen time Fernando was unfortunately '' cut '' in favor of a simple cameo ...

A news flash!

During the audition scene where animals can be seen on the screen a monkey swinging on a rock hanging from a vine. This is a significant reference to the popular video-clip '' Wreking Ball '' the singer Miley Cyrus.
