Luiz is a mean-looking but friendly bulldog that aids Blu and the other in their journey. He has a fad for mechanics and his slobbery bite proves that “drool is cool.” 

Nico's best pal and Blu's new friend, Pedro is a kind bird with a big heart and a love for music. Throughout their journey Pedro sets the mood with his amazing beats and funky toons. 

Eva est la compagne de Rafael. Mère sévère et très fidèle à ses principes, elle est redoutée de ses petits. Entêtée et protectrice, Rafael doit constamment lui rappeler la nuit de leur rencontre afin de calmer ses ardeurs . Malgré cette personnalité, c’est une compagne affectueuse et qui  apprécie la romance. D’autre part, son chant laisse à désirer…

Nigel, the antagonist of or feather friends, is a conniving cockatoo who is hot on the trail of Blu and the others, who have fled Nigel’s employers – a band of bird-nappers. Once a beautiful movie star, Nigel now helps smuggle exotic birds after his career was destroy when he was replaced by a pretty parakeet. 

Linda is Blu’s best pal and owner. When a child, she discovered Blu within a small crate in her hometown in Minnesota where Blu and her began their journey. After years of bonding, she opened her own bookstore named Blu Macaw Books where her and her feathered friend lived their lives. When she found out that Blu was the last of his kind, she set out with a big expert and Blu to Rio de Janeiro to meet Blu’s new lover. 

Native to Rio de Janerio, Tulio is a bird expert who's dream is to help parrots and other exotic birds from the torture of parrot smuggling. Once he found that the last male Blue Macaw was owned by a young girl named Linda, he set off to bring the two of them to Rio and help the Blue Macaw species. 

Nico is a small Rio bird with a big heart for music and dancing. Doing everything to the beat of music, him and his pal Pedro help Blu and Jewel out through their journey. 

Fernando is the orphan that i n the begining of the movie,takes Jewel and Blu.But he only does it because he needs the money.He only got half of what he was suppose to get.He then helps Tulio and Linda throughout the movie.At the end I guess you could say Tulio and Linda sort of adopted him.
