Personality: Atlas is quite Shy, giving him the nickname 'Gigi' (Short for Gentle Giant), but is not easily pushed around. This does not make him stubborn, but he can sometimes have a mood for about half an hour (in which he will refuse to do just about anything you care to mention). The only problem with Atlas is the fact he bottles everything up, which causes him to rage when he's angry. His best quality is his honesty towards others and his pride in his otherwise different family. Despite his shyness, he hides a powerful brave stallion who will not step down in the face of danger.

Likes: Relaxing, Keeping to himself, Grazing, having plenty of time and space.

Dislikes: Being rushed, being called 'Patchwork Horse/Patches', anyone talking bad about his family. Hates Coyotes.

Fears: Never being accepted.

Song: Hall of Fame (By The Script ft. will.i.am.)

Voice: Has a mix of accents which he switches to and from, but particularly Scottish.

Bio

Atlas was a stable-bred stallion on a ranch not too far from a large forest rich with wildlife. The ranch was where he had grown up his entire life, and never once kept a hoof out of line. He was brought up a respectable yearling by his parents: both a mix of several different breeds, both born by accident. So in other words, he was an unwanted member of the group, an outcast. An accident born from another accident. He hated the fact that he was looked down upon with disgust and sneered at behind his back. By the time he was 2 years old, he even got whipped for 'being idle'!

Atlas often went on walks to stay calm. Eventually his parents would pass away, leaving him alone and unloved and make him go on even more evening strolls. He would take a few moments to himself, smelling the blooming flowers and taking his time. If he was really comfortable he would talk in his different accents (Spanish, Dutch and French; English and, his favourite, Scottish) softly to himself. But that still wasn't enough to keep him from hating where he lived.

So, one day, he decided to break out of the ranch and take off. He waited until the ranch keepers took the horses on a group ride: The horses mucking around and being cold to Atlas, and then Atlas bolted straight off to wherever the wind took him. What he didn't plan on was one of the stallions watching him bolt, and then taking off after him.

The stallion kept calling to him, but Atlas ignored him until they reached a river. There, he decided to give up and let the stallion tag along with him. Atlas knew the stallion as Markus: son of one of the bullying horses that lived on the ranch. They travelled a few miles or so a day.

At one point, they met Abracadabra's herd after a Coyote attack (which was a bit of a slap in the face for Atlas, as his father had died in a Coyote attack, which caused his mother to die of heart attack when she heard the news). Atlas was as calm as possible, and got along well with the family. When the horses got visited by a Hart, Atlas noted how it seemed to be referring to him as the north wind. It seemed to send some kind of message to a forgotten part of his brain, and once again the two stallions set off after saying their goodbyes.

Finally, they reached the Lakota Village. Atlas had been a bit skeptical about being near a human settlement, but Markus persuaded him to come with him. They met a stallion called Flame as they walked around, and he led them to Little Creek, who had previous experience with horses. He took the boys in, and they got to know the Lakota horses. Atlas fitted in well, as quite a few of the horses were cross breeds. Markus was briefly left out because of this, but he eventually got accepted by the other horses after Atlas explained he wasn't so bad.

Then, they were brought before the Chief, who inspected them with great interest. He finally declared them to be true Lakota horses, and they were taken to be painted and 'feathered'. Atlas was given the symbol of the wind underneath his eye, referring to how he followed the breeze to the village, and his accent changing ability that mirrors the behavior of the winds: ever changing and hard to predict how it'll be.

Related to Spirit: Lives in the Lakota village currently and has met Little Creek. Has also met Spirit and Rain, and upholds huge respect for them [since he first heard their story].
