Connections:

Gray: This stallion is Alex's father who he looks up to greatly. He was always very close to his father and he always did his best to make his father proud but he often feels as if he didn't. Alex holds great respect for his father and always has.

Shayla: This lovely mare is his beloved mother and he is always happy to see her because she knows just how to make him smile. She was always good at figuring out when he was feeling down or was worried about something. She was helpful and always knew just what to say to him.

Gypsy: She is his wise and lovely sister who he truly thought to be his best friend but he felt betrayed when she chose a tamed stallion as her mate and band stallion. After he left however he felt saddened by lose of her company. He misses her and would often visit her now that Ashes is gone.

Pearl: This beautiful mare was the one who stole his heart. The moment he laid eyes on the scarred mare he wanted her to be his mate but she was broken and frightened of him. He did his best to try and show her that he wasn’t going to harm her in any way. When he left she came with him of her own will.

Teddy: This mare had once belonged to his nephew Prince but when he came across her alone and away from Prince they spent a few hours talking and he truly like the mare she was lovely and kind. She and her colt soon joined his little band of mares when he fell for her has well.

Ashes: Alex cares nothing for this stallion because he had once been tame. He always thought him to be weak and unsuitable for his sister. His dislike of tamed horses had left him blind to who Ashes really was.

Prince: Is Alex's nephew whose mate had come to stay with Alex instead. He felt sorry for him and grated taking his mate. Though they rarely speak to one another these days.

Destiny: This is Alex only niece that he actually talks to because she looks nothing like her father. Though she does get angry at him for not paying Aurora any attention.

Aurora: This is his other niece the one who he pays no mind to because she looks so much like Ashes. He cares nothing for her because of his hatred for Ashes being a tamed horse.

Jaden: He is the son of his niece Aurora. Though Alex at first care cared nothing for the fact that his niece had had a foal but when he came to visit his sister and saw the handsome little colt playing with the other foals he felt his heart melt for him.

Children:

Devi(with Pearl): This is Alex's very first foal. He was very protective of her but when she was capture and taken away from them he had tried to get her back but failed many time he soon gave up and saw her again when she was with her human. He misses her deeply and wishes there had been some way to get her back home but he is simply happy that she is safe and happy herself.

History:

 Alexander was the first born to lovely mare Shalya and the brave stallion Grey. At first the colt had been coal black but as he aged his black coat began to fade into a smokey black. His beautifully green eyes were much like his mothers. Even though his coat was more towards his father’s side. He loves both of his parents and when his sister came along he was so happy to have her. He couldn’t believe it that he finally had someone to play with. He careful though so that he didn’t hurt her. As he grew he became very protective of his sister and was always looking out for her. So when they the day came that she asked him if he wanted to come with her to be her guardian as she built her own herd. He thought the idea was a bit crazy and just didn’t seem like a good idea but as she explained why she wanted to it brought a grin to his face.

His sister had a great idea and he wanted to help her but she simply told her that he would think about. He wanted to see if she really wanted to do this or if it was just a phase but when she turned 3 years old and she asked him again he finally agreed and with that they left with a goodbye to their parents. He followed his sister across the land protecting her but she proved to be able to do it herself. He was proud of her and soon they came across their first mare and other ones soon came as well. The herd had turned into a good sizes and the first of the foals was soon born but with the new foals came trouble.

Gypsy had been sneaking off during the night while he was on guard. He wasn’t sure what she was doing on those nights until she brought back with her a large gypsy vanner stallion. He confronted her right way about it and she simply told him she was in love with the stallion by the name of Ashes and that he was to become her band stallion. He chose to leave not wanting anything to do with the tame stallion. He chose to make his own herd with the mare he loved. He missed his sister greatly but about as the years pasted he learned that his sister had had foals with his tame stallion. He had come to visit with his own sometimes.

About a year or so after hearing the prince had started his own heard he had soon met a lovely mare by the name of Teddy she was Prince’s lead mare but soon took a liking to him and wanted to join his herd. Alexander himself had begun to feel for the mare and did invite he into his herd. When his nephew found out he was angry with Alex but he didn’t blame him for it. Alexander met this back when Gypsy and he were just starting the herd. The first time he saw the furaglie mare with scars that covered her body this heart was twisted and anger filled his gut. He wanted to kill the horse that had done such a thing to her. The mare’s name was pearl and she had become a new member to the herd. She was best friends with Gypsy but she was frightened by Alex which saddened him. He wanted her to feel safe around him and in the herd.

So over the months he slowly worked to being able to talk to her and approach her with her freaking out on him. It took him 4 months of this before she finally came around to liking him. He had slowly fallen in love with the broken mare that he was now seeing the full side to. He had asked her to be his mate days before he had left and she had gone with him.
