Personality: Very much a follower. She's a spunky mare but she also has a tendency to get cranky and stubborn... she is extremely stubborn. But she adores Killdeer and Aleta. She is actually very talkative up to the point where can be a bit annoying, but she doesn't really realize when she is. When she's not annoying or stubborn, she's a kind and sweet mare. 

Likes: Not having to worry about anything, her herd, her foal, spring, grass, flowers, rain, wind, the sun, warmth.

Dislikes: Being cold, being bossed around too much, humans-sorta, snow, anyone who threatens her her family or herd.

History: Her mother was one of the Lakota's horses but her father was a wild mustang. Both were captured by the calvary and used to pull the iron horse along with Spirit. After they were freed by Spirit, they ran wild for a while, and Aspen's mother became pregnant with her.

     When Aspen was about three years old, she followed her mother back to the Lakota village. Aspen was too used to the wild so decided to leave her mother and return to the wild. But after traveling on her own, she gets lonely and searches for a herd. She soon stumbles into Killdeer and Aleta.

Relation to Spirit: Is in the same herd as Spirit and Rain's daughter.
