Breed: Thoroughbred x Akhal-Teke

Coat Pattern/Color:  Non-fading Seal Brown/ Black. Has a stocking on right-hind leg. Also has a star with a small “dot” next to it on his forehead.  His eyes are not red- but “spicy brown” shade. Has dark spots under his eyes, the bottom parts of his eyes are thicker. 

Height:  17.0 hh

Age:  4ish Years. Variable, but is 1 year younger than Petrol.

Appears to be next in line to Moskau’s herd, he’s got a lot to learn. He’ll have plenty of competition.

Personality:

Much like his father, but more arrogant and violent. Diesel isn’t one to choose his battles carefully, thus his numerous scars already. He’d like to think he’s the king of the world- being only two, he has time to grow.  He thinks he will always win. He loves nothing better than reporting what his herd-mates having been doing to his father and getting them in trouble. Being arrogant and tricky, he isn’t to be trusted. He might learn his lesson someday, but he hasn’t yet. He also loves the ladies of course, the older mares usually ignore him, but he tries anyways.  His good quality is his loyalty to his herd and his willingness/eagerness to defend it.

History:

He was born to Gasolina after she finally decided to breed with Moskau, and from the moment he was born- he was running. He would race around and around his older-half brother: Petrol. Moskau would often take Diesel on special trips to see the lay of the land from the bluffs, thus Diesel learned from early on how to watch the herd.

He developed a special bond with his half-brother: Petrol (same mother). Diesel likes Petrol because he is so obedient and submissive to him, that he can dare Petrol to do almost anything he pleases. As Diesel grew, they became the best of friends, which is a rare status knowing Diesel’s persona. Diesel’s arrogance usually gets the better of him, but maybe he’ll someday learn his lesson. He has gotten in numerous fights with cougars and challengers, and always won. Right now this tricky speed demon thinks the world is his.

*Role in the Spirit Universe:

He has heard the tales of Spirit's herd and naturally wants to take it- but it's mostly just a passing fancy. He is herd mates with many former cavalry horses, and may have some run ins with the cavalry itself at some point.
