Personality: Dyani is very warm, strong, enthusiastic mare, typically very bright and full of potential. She lives in the world of possibilities, and can become very passionate and very excited about things. She is very good at talking her way in or out of anything and haas a strong desire to feel wanted and needed.

History

For days a small group of men had been traveling to find people to sell merchandise to.
One of the men’s horses was pregnant and soon to have the foal. The mare couldn’t do a lot of traveling and there was still a lot of land to cover. Fortunately there was an Indian tribe nearby.  The man traded with the Indians, giving them the mare. Knowing that they would take care of her and her foal. It wasn’t long until Dyani came into the world. The people and the horses cheered, joyful to have a new family member to their tribe.

When Dyani turned four, the tribe heard that the white men were coming to their land to shove then off of it. The tribe was too small to fight against the intruding white men, so all they could do was walk away and watch them take over.

For a year they Indians traveled, passing through lands and other tribes. Dyani didn’t mind the traveling and liked seeing knew sights but she wanted to stay in one place to call home. Soon that day came.

One of the tribes they stopped at was the Lakota tribe. They were running out of food and supplies so they sold Dyani and another horse to trade. Dyani said goodbye to her friends and family and was sad to see them go but was happy to call a place home.
