I know this topic has been covered by another question but It didn't answer my question.

It has been said no character can be made on the site if it has no relation to Spirit the charcater himself, but it has also been complained about that the links people are using are very weak. What I wanted to ask was surely not every horse on this site could possibly have a personal link with Spirit? 

People end up with very tenous links which are put in place just to please the mods, and is that right?

Also it has been said that the horse shouldn't be here if it doesn't exsist in the Spirit-universe. But my characters do "live" within Spirits world and although do not have very personal links to him are affected by his actions. My characters keep getting diabled and what I am trying to do is create all their profiles so I can create my fan-fiction comic, which I have not written yet so cannot give a full back story to my characters.

So why can't we have characters that live within Spirits world but do not have a blood or personal link to him?

I think Troll covered your question very well, but here's a few more suggestions as well ^^; Like Troll said, your characters don't have to be relatives of Spirit to count, but that doesn't mean you can't make them his relatives if you want to. And don't forget, there are MANY other horses in the movie as well. Aside from the main characters like Spirit, Rain and Esperanza, you could make your characters blood relations of the twin foals, the Colonel's horse Granite, the 3 Lakota horses etc etc. In addition, some people choose an unnamed mare from Spirit's herd and make her the mother of their character. Or, if your horse isn't a mustang, you could make it a sibling to one of the cowboy's horses, or the cavalry horses etc. Your character could also have been affected by Spirit's actions. So, like Troll said, they could have pulled the train with him, or helped the cowboys to capture him. Or perhaps they helped to guide the 3 Lakota horses back to the Lakota village after Spirit freed them from the train. The possibilities are vast, and the more creative you are, the better ^^
