Esmour's mother was born near the apple tree (the one Spirit plucked a fruit from) and he was born on the outskirts of the village (Near were Spirit and Rain swam)

When I was born it was dawn.I looked at my mami and smiled.My mami was beautiful, and she looked fairy-talish i the light.She laughed gently and nuzzled me.My papi was the second living thing I saw.He was tall and spotty.I laughed, he was looking down at me with big round blue eyes.He pushed me to stand up,I wobbled and mami laughed.I think she remebered something.

We went to the village to see the people.My mami liked this place and so did my papi, but he wasn't so used to it as mami.She showed me to the cheif, he smiled.He took some blue paint and mami told me to shut my eyes tight.I felt something on my face and I snorted.

We went back home under the shade of the forest.My mami and papi said I looked older than I was with the marking the man gave me.

After a few months I started to go to the village to see the other foals.I met a few, but they didn't spark interest in me.There was a young girl named Cetan.I liked her, she was kind.I met a few other things like Cetan but they didn't come close to her.

Me mami and papi had to go bac to the cheif for something called a "Blessing".When we arrived mami and papi stayed at the entrance and told me to go in.The cheif was there and he beconed me forwards.He placed a hand on my forehead and began to chant something in latin.I flinched at the contact but i soon got used to it.

When he finished, I felt alot faster.Mami and papi grinned as I sped of towards Cetan."He reall likes that girl." Said papi.Mami nodded."And she likes him.".
