H I S T O R Y 

Hanska had a wonderful first two years of his life, living with his mother and father and growing up with the other foals in the Lakota Village. During a wild fire, he became separated from both of his parents. Lost in the flames, his father found him and led Hanska to safety at the cost of his own life. Though, Hanska couldn't find his mother after the fire eventually calmed. After wandering for four days, he was taken by Bill and Jake's gang to the American Army Camp. There, he was trained to be specifically Sgt. Adams' horse. After serving for three years, he escaped during Spirit's Uprising. After wandering about the canyons, he found himself being led back to the Lakota Village by a young Native man that he seemed to recognise. As he set foot into the village, he began to recall his memories as a colt. Though he was hesitant to stay with them, he grew to enjoy his time in the village and decided to stay with the herd after becoming friends with Takoda, along with Little Creek and a few other horses. He still searches endlessly for his mother, hoping that she too is still looking for him.

Relation to Spirit

Lived in the Lakota village for two and a half years, he journeyed to the American Army Fort, and returned. He had experiences with Jake, Bill, and was the specialized horse to Sgt. Adams. Good friend to Storm and knew Little Creek.
