Personality: Hoover is a very attractive, yet scarred stallion. He's slightly insecure, but spending most of his years in the U.S. Army, he is hardened to any strangers, and leaderlike.

History: Hoover was born on a calvary breeding base. He was handled well there, and sold when he reached two years old. He was integrated into the calvary base's training program. By two and a half Hoover was ready for war.

He went into the first war with his sire, who had been integrated into the program because the Colonel's horse had died. He charged into war with his father, completely terrified. A cannon fired near him, deafening him in his right ear. He screamed in pain, and then whirled in time to see the same cannon ball plummet through his father.

Hoover didnt know what to do when his rider started harshly pulling on the bit, and firing a gun between his ears. He locked up, standing in place as the battle raged around him. And then his rider went down. Hoover stood planted on the ground, while everyone rushed past him. A soldier from the other Calvary they were battling with, gathered Hoover's reins, and launched onto his back.

This rider was much more harsh, spurring him and jerking him until he bled. Hoover lurched into a petrified gallop, his legs stiff. And then his home calvary was retreating. And so Hoover became the enemy calvary's horse.

The colt went through two more battles, and began to get the idea. On his tenth battle he was a pro at it, becoming the Colonel of his new calvary's horse.

And then at age three Hoover went back into battle for this new calvary. He was still deaf in that one ear, and his rider knew it. In this battle Hoover gained another injury. He was blinded, completely, by the gas that was used for bombs. He made it through the battle afterwards. But the blindness was permanant. Hoover was shot on the battlefeild, thought to be dead.

But the Appaloosa wasnt dead. CJ Florek wandered upon the colt. he had heard the commotion from the battle. He took poor half-deaf, blind, and mortally wounded Hoover and began to heal him.

Today Hoover is a wild stallion, living with CJ Florek. Florek gave him a huge offer. Hoover became the leader of the band, for CJ wasnt the leader type. Hoover may be blind, but he uses his herdmates, and his senses to get around.
