History

Imit has always been over protective of Rain as has Eros. WHen spirit rolled into town Emit didn't trust him there for he kept telling Rain not to trust him. but the heart wants what the heart wants. And she wanted spirit. Imit would give spirit a hard time and gang up on him with Eros. Rain would often have to stop the fight. However Imit's feeling towards spirit changed when he saved Rain's and Little Creeks Life. Imit welcomed him with open arms. When spirit got caught again and was forced to pull the train Imit and Eros ran to help him. Imit was sad in the end to say goodbye to his siter but it was time to her to gain her wings and fly.

Not long after Rain left to the Cimarron heard. The Lakota tribe had been attacked, Imit worked with his horse "family" within the tribe and the lakota humans to keep then at bay. In the war he lost his brother Eros. Imit had froze out of fear when teh Calvary catin had his gun pointed at him and his human. Eros though to be the horse of death & war by the Lakota took up his role and to his own humans dismay took the shot for his older brother. Eros was shot dead on the spot. Imit lost his composer and wasn't nay good through out the rest of the war, neithere were the other main war horses in the tribe, 2 of which being my character Little west wind and Sunray. Because of the lack of mobility the Lakota's lost the fight with the Calvary and were forced off of their land. but had plans of gaining it back one day. Imit blamed himself for his younger brothers death. and feld from the tribe leaving everyone behind. however this was a bad idea as he was skittish and unstable ever sence the battle. His human went looking for him but he was never found. Years pasted and he had wandered into the Cimarron heard, there he had to tell his sister rain of their brothers death. Rain kind hearted as she is did not blame her brother, but sh estill couldn't find it to look him in the eye. This strange tension cause Imit to leave the herd. for years he wandered around the plains, untile he wanderd right into Calvary teritory. He was soon reconized and captured. his maine was cut and he was easily broken however he was put to work as a labor horse and not a war horse. All the other horses within the calvary were broken but none as broken as Imit who had lost his Wild fire that every horse should have burning within there souls, broken or not. Rain somehow had gotten word about her brothers capturing and with spirit went out to save him. Spirit the one Imit trusted the least was the one that brought back enough fire with imit that he broke loose from the calvary and returned to the lakota. however now his horse family did blame him, he left those who he was closest to to worry and think him for dead. he was soon cast out of the tribe by the other horses, now he was a rouge.

Winter & Imits History:

As Foal Imit was always a playfull one. He was older than his siter & brother by one year and felt he needed ot be the protecting her, him and there friends. He wasn't shy not by far but he never would say the right thing to fillys & even mares as he got older. Rain had one friend that drove him mad, she was frail and he would try to protect her like he did all rains other friends but she was stuborn and didn't want him to. she would try her hardest to keep up with them and did a fairly good job at it. However Winter made imit fidgit, and mumbble. he never understood why but it was hard for him to say anything to her without it sounding jittery. winter only found him to be rain's weird older brother and as a foal just ignored him.

As they came into there teens Imits maine grew out and he now lost his splotchy cream and bay choat for a nice even dark bay/chestnut coat. however he kept a patch of creme over his nose. he was now a bit to confadent in himself and would walk up to the younge mares and talk. however he'd never say the right thing. he hadn't been choosen by a human he would just help out whatever one needed him at the time. one day he spoted rain playing with a white mare. Imit had never really payed much attention to winters coat change, so he didn't know it was her. he tritted up in a failing "cool guy" manor. and tried to flirt with the white mare. however his remarks came off in a silly way and the mre laughed at him and went off to go paly with rain again. Imit was confused it worked on most other mares. for months he tired comin gon to her. but nothing worked. eventually winter spoke up and rippe dhim a new one when one time he said something and to his dismay it came out offensive. he didn't mean it though. he apologized and told he he'd start over, that he just wanted to be her friend. Winter gladly ecepted him as her friend and the two worke dup fromt here.

however now there was another Problem in Imits way, WInter now only saw him as a brotherly figure. it had gotten so bad that she even called Him brother some times. well this wasn't really a bad thing it was cute but imit didn't feel for her as a sister he wanted to be more. he noticed things about her that many stallions didn't, and he loved how she could keep up with the Stallions how she wan't all to fru-fru. and he would often get mad in other Stallions made passes at her nad would tell them off. Somtimes winter would be greatfull for it and other times she would be mad at him for it. When Rain left the area with Spirit Imit was upset along with his brother Eros. They were both very over protective brothers and it bothered them everyday that she was gone. Imit was the worse of fone however, in this time he spent more time with Winter. Suddenly there was a glimer of hope for imit. one day while he and winter were talking about memories with rain and their childhood and the wild. Winter confessed about how rain's leaving had her thinking about if there was mroe than just the lakota life out there and if she would fit in it. Imit told her about how he was sure there was, and how if anyone would fit in it it would be her, she over came being a ill week foal and became the fastest horses in the tribe, and how that might be the reason she never latched onto a human, then he let his words slip "winter you are a beautiful, Wild soul, you can do anything you set your heart to" WInter caught the "Beautiful" and the tone in his voice. she aske dhim if he ment what he said. Imit realized what he said and looked away. stating "of corse....why would i lie to my "sister" " winter frowned and Imit mentally kicked himself he had put exrta infases on Sister to make it seem liek all she was to him was a sisterly figure. even though that was a bold faced lie. it was awkward from there on, the two keep a distance from each other, neither one noticeing that they were.

A few more years past and then there was a war between the Lakota and the Calvary again. In that war. Imit lost his brother and many other friends. but Imit believed it was his fault his brother died. after the war the lakota lost there land and were forced to find new land. there on there new land WInter foudn Imit and tried to help him through hsi brothers death. the the distance they had alreayd put between each other made it hard for her to help. Imit wasn't himself anymore, he as skittish, doubting, slugish and would be off by hisself alot. were as he used to be a socail butterlfy of sorts. Winter didn't like seening him like this. and went to cheer him up one day. there conversation started off kinda awkward and then it turned dramatic and Imit ran off saying he didn't belong there anymore. He was gone for years.

then One year in the fall he came back. With Spirit and Rian with him. WInter greated her friends. Mimit was happy to see her and apologized however winter siad she understood saying "just don't do it again" in a mockingly bossy voice. WInter walked them to were most of the horses would graze. ALl expected Imit to be welcomed warmly by the other horses as he was the Horse of the Harvest & Luck to the lakota. However he was shunned byt he toher horses. they wondered why the Horse who was suposed to bring luck and Food would leave them alone after the horse of war had died and there lcuk had already been so bad. Imit then left the Lakota heard with Rain and Spirit. Winter furious with the lakota horses, at how they treated him, left a few days after. she realized at first she had kept quiet when they said what they siad to him. but now she realized thpsose titles and such they game certian horses they didn't mean anything, the hrose didn't cause anything life did, and that life oculd be over come, she was the perfect example of that. She traveled to rain's land in hopes Imit would be there but he had long been gone form there. He had Left into the Rockies into the Artisan Herd. Winter travel through the snow (as it was now winter time) through the rough terrain of the mountains. She then ran into a Stallion named Emery. He was the leader of the Artisan Herd. WInter explained to him that she cmae to find her friend Imit. And there she found him. Now however due to living in the moutains his coat had became thicker and he himself taller and thicker to survive the weather there but it fit him well. he nuzzled up to her as she was shivering from the cold. winter tried to stay inthe rockies but it hard for her. she haddn't bult up that winter coat yet. and soon go tvery ill. Imit could se ehe could no longer stay in the rockies, but WInter liked her home up there. so she stayed. that stuborn-nes sin her was rising up agian. Imit loved how she always seemed to pull through even if the odds were bad.

Spring rolled around and Winter was back on her feet and had become stronge enough to surivie the harsh winters in the rockies. however being new ot the herd she had a low rank in it. and it was mating time for the horses. Imit wanted to be her mate more than anything but he wasn't supose dot mate with Mares of a lower rank he had known Emery for so long Emery though of hima s his own son. thus he had to mate with higher ranking mares. any mare would flirt with him adn many stallion of lower ranks would flirt with Winter and butt in when ever the two were trying to talk or play. one day the two got feed up with this. Winter with Imit spoke up. it was a weird and still gorwning love but love was still there. Emery said WInter would have to prove her self worthy of a higher rank. and Imit laost it and ranted to emery about her birth, her life in general, how far she had come in life, how strong she was, how beautiful, how kind and the lsit went on. Winter was blushing and emery was smiling. Imit told emery if he had to he'd fight to become lead stallion if he had to just to have winter be able to be with him. the two had pasted Emery's test. Imit needed to get over his sittish-ness and grow up into that wild soul he was born to be, he had lost his wild fire but was gaining it back through Winter. and emery saw this. Winter got what the purpose was for emery's attidude and was greafull to him, and foudn it funyn that Imit still didn't get it but he was jsut happy that He could Finally be with Winter Now.
