Personality: Night Runner is a trusting and caring horse. He always seeks attention from humans and loves the Lakota people far more then his previous owners. When another horse first meets Night, he is shy and stays that way until he knows the horse completely - once he does get to know a horse he is friendly and playful. Overall Night Runner is a friendly, loving horse.

Dislikes: His old owners, too much sunlight, being ignored by humans, mean horses, violent horses and humans

History:

(Current name in this time: Ceasar) Night Runner had an average foalhood. When he turned two he was sold to some U.S colinisers who rented out cart horses, and Night Runner, having a large bone structure, was hired very often to pull different sorts of things. They ranged from carraiges to trains.

When Night Runner was around three he was hired to pull a train across a newly built railroad. He didn't find it that difficult to pull with other horses, but all the same, he hated it. When a dun horse (Spirit) set him and all of the other horses free, Night Runner thought his life as a hire horse was done. It was, but he was only given a new job. The U.S army rounded up most of the horses - Night Runner included. The humans in the army renamed Ceasar to Fletcher, not knowing his original name. The U.S army had him work as a delivery horse - bringing ale to the army when they ran low.

During this time the Lakota tribe was doing everyhting they could to infuriate the army. One Lakota warrior spotted Night Runner bringing ale toward the fort and sent the rest of his raid group to attack his driver. One the Lakota's had killed the man and left the ale leaking onto the ground they cut Night Runner from the cart and took him to their camp. They renamed him to night Runner and admired his size, coat and effection toward them. (he loved the Lakota's for their ways which is why he was effectionate toward them) Night Runner was loved by all of the Lakota and is still living a happy life with them.
