History: Nolan was born on a breezy early morning only months after his mother joined his fathers herd. Nolan was a spitting image of his father, Domingo, with the soft loving eyes of his mother, Indy. The little colt was strong only needing a few moments to stand and eventually start walking. He proudly held his head high and trotted around his mother and father showing off to them. They lived outside the Lakota village and Nolan often visited the village with his father. He enjoyed seeing a young Lakota named Little Creek and would play with him when ever visiting.

As Nolan grew so did his hunger for adventure. He would always be climbing on rocks or chasing fish in creeks or playing in the mud. His mother found if a tad nerv wracking having to worry about her colt more then the other mares but allowed Nolan his freedom. Nolan often followd his father around sparring with him and rough housing with the other foals. He would always recruit other foals to go on little adventures around the herd, venturing through the woods or in feilds with tall grass. Most of them rather stay near their mothers, which bored Nolan to death. He often strayed too far from Indy and would by scolded for it when she found him. Nolan really even knew of the dangers of straying outside the herd. It never occured to him that he could get hurt or even killed.
