Character: Very wise. Over his many years as leader he has gained a lot of knowlege about the land. He is patient, a stallion of few words though not shy in the least. But there is still a childlike air to him. Although he may not look it he can normally take down a young reckless stallion that challenges him in a mere minute or so. As luck would have it through the long time he has defended his herd he has learned weak point on horses and does not hesitate to use them. He keeps his herd high in the mountains and they are a mix of rare and uncommon colored horses, all taken to safety from wranglers who would try and sell them on the black market. He is very reclusive and will only show himself to those outside his herd on rare occasions.

Relationships:

Spirit- Pegasus watched over Spirit through his travels as he was very interested in the stallions will and determination. He met with him once later on but never revealed himself to the stallion again.

Rohan- Another leader of a herd Pegasus watched over. Though Spirit never lost faith through the problems thrown at him Rohan was quite the opposite. He watched as Rohan became deranged and twisted through his mates venomous words and the trials set for him.

Ryver- Pegasus's first herd memeber. Her level headedness and calm personality kept him at ease when he first stumbled upon her in the canyons one day. He enjoyed her company and offered her to join him. Being a member for so long she has a lot of respect among the herd.

(Pegasus /could/ use herd memebers and a leadmare/mate. Pm me if you have one you'd like to be part of the herd. His herd is unlike most traditional ones as he accepts mares, stallions, and geldings into his herd and will only have foals with his leadmare/mate. Stallions serve as protectors of the herd. Again I have the right to say no to your character as I will be picky about who is allowed to join.)

History

Not much is known about his real history. He has stirred up many legends begining in the Lakota tribe and spiraling out to eventually reach the herds. 
They told of a pegasus stallion who once roamed the lands of the Cimmaron herd watching out for it's inhabitants from the sky. They said he could fly higher then any eagle and was as quick as the wind itself. Through his travels he met a mare in a wandering herd and fell in love. However, being a 'higher being' their courtship was forbiddin. So infactuated with the mare he gave up his own wings, his gift and treasure, to be with her. He became mortal but the patches on his shoulder stayed to remind him of his sacrifice.
Of course this wasn't true but the legends follow him more then his actual history did.

He was born in a normal herd just like any other, but he had a mutation in his color genes forming the 'bloody shoulder' mark. Other foals didn't want to play with him and the adults where wary of the strange colored foal. The only ones he could count on where his parents. His mother loved her son, his unique marking only made him that much more special to her. His father taught him how to spar and where to find water and most importantly how to goof off. When he wasn't around his parents he had a facination with climbing. he would climb rocks, ledges, cliffs, mountains, whatever his little hooves could get too. His parents feared this would surely cause him an accident eventually but being sure footed he never made a mistake.

When it came time for him to be off on his own adventures he wandered off with a group of other fillies and colts his age. It wasn't long till the unexperienced bunch met up with wranglers. Pegasus was immediately targeted for his odd coloring and was seperated from the group. He ran towards the mountains which the men just patiently waited behind, thinking he'd be trapped once he got their. But to their surprise he lept up onto the closest ledge then climbed from shelf to shelf. Their was no way their enexperienced horses would make it up so they let him go. Feeling safe Pagasus never came down from the mountain and started his herd there.

He was alone for quite a few months before he wandered upon his first memeber of his herd. He was walking along the canyon when he stumbled upon a stunning grey mare with a strange marking on her side, a Rabicano marking, Never seeing anything quite like her before he approached her and they began talking. He eventually offered her to join him and she accepted. Thrilled to have a companion he returned back to the mountains to wander his home territory with her.
