Personality: Penny, unlike her parents, is gentle, kind and caring. She will do what she must to help her friends. Because of her parents' cruelty, she became a cruel mare herself for a while until Sitka opened her eyes to a whole new point of view.

Relationships:

Rain.- a black mare Penny met in her travels. The two were really good friends, but they went their separate ways after a while.

Butterfly-Penny's "auntie". She gives Penny really good advice and is a mother to her.

Aidan-Penny's half brother, he was the last horse to see her before she left the herd.

Sitka- She is a very good friend of Penny's

History: Penny has had hardships all her life. Her mother never really cared for her, favoring her younger sister Shiloh. Her father would often hurt her very badly because she was a misfit. One day, when Penny was a yearling, a herd made of cavalry horses came to the Albino's herd. They had lost their riders. Penny met a handsome bay stallion named Aspen and the two began to talk, Penny being  surprised at his charming German accent. The Albino, disgusted with the idea of allowing cavalry horses into his herd, chased them off. But Penny caught up with Aspen and told him he could stay in the surrounding area of woodland. Every day, Penny visited him and began to fall for him, even though her was two years older. Unfortunately the Albino found them out and fought Aspen, beating him to "death". Penny was very angry at her father and stayed with them one more year before running off. She soon met an Appy stallion named Ranger and became mates. After a year with him she found that he was a cruel stallion. One day, Ranger began to beat Penny for no apparent reason, when a lone bay stallion rushed to Penny's aid and fought and defeated Ranger. "Aspen!" Penny cried as she rushed over to nuzzle her savior. The two became mates and met up with the Cimarron herd, seeking refuge. Spirit granted their wishes and they are currently living there happily.
