Persona: Tino is full of curiosity and wonder. He is very intelligent even though he doesn't exactly act like he is. He has a big loving heart and always looks to make friends.

Related to Spirit: Tino is a grandson of Spirit and Rain, he also lived in the Cimarron herd for a period of time.

History: Tino, or know to his family at the time as Washo, was born into his father, Storm's, herd. Tino looked at the world with wonder, he was so fascinated about everything around him. His older brothes, Flash, found it a tad odd even for a new born foal to be as curious as he was.

As a yearling Tino spent a lot of his time with his grandfather, Spirit. Storm thought it would be good for Tino to get to know his grandparents. Tino learned a lot from Spirit and Rain, about the world outside the Cimarron. He gained knowledge and wisdom from them. He wanted to know more about the world and what was out there.

Once Tino was old enough he wondered from his herd to explore the areas where the herd has stopped. One day he had noticed some humans in the valley, something in his head told him to run but he wanted to get closer look at them. He soon could see the men but before he realized how close he was, he was spotted. The men chased Tino down till they caught him and dragged him to a pen with other wild horses. Tino was terrified and wanted to go home but there was no way to escape, there was always men on guard watching the group of wild horses. The morning after his capture, the men dragged the horses down a trail to a town to sell them. Once forced into a new pen, Tino, and some other horses galloped franticly around the pen. One by one he watched the horses get roped and taken out of the pen, Tino soon felt a lasso slip over his head and tighten arounf his neck. He franticly bucked and crow hopped trying to get free, but he was so tired from fighting and soon gave in. He was taken to a small house on some property not too far from town. As he approached the house he noticed a boy sitting on the porch waiting. He was put in a corral and walked around watching as the boy, named Timothy, ran up to greet his father and see their new horse. At first, Tino wanted nothing to do with the boy and ignored him for the fist week. But Timothy soon began to grow on Tino and they became inseparable, the two spent every minute of the day together and would go on rides for hours.

Many months after Tino began living with the Smith family, Timothy, had become sick after being out in the rain checking on Tino. Tino was worried about Timothy and often called out to him to see if he'd come to his window. After being terribly sick for weeks Timothy sadly passed away, Tino didn't know of his death till his parents buried him in a spot that he and Timothy would go to on their rides. The stallion was heartbroken at the loss of his best friend and became distant. Tino's presents began to upset Timothy's mother and she demanded that the stallion be sold. After a few days a man on a seal bay paint horse appeared at the house. Garrett walked up to the corral with Bandit and introduced hiself and Bandit to the horse. Tino thought he was crazy at first but reluctantly left with him. Again, Tino wanted nothing to do with Garrett after getting to the ranch, he sat out in the feild by his self. He often was visited by Bandit who always asked if he wanted to race. Tino constantly rejected him but Bandit always came back, so he finally decided to humor his self and raced with the energetic stallion. As they raced Tino suddenly felt something inside, he felt alive. Bandit had mad him feel as happy as he was when he was with Timothy.
