history.
"Growing up in the Cimarron herd sounds like a great story; every horse has heard of its herd stallion, the mighty Spirit. And the stories are great, believe me, I think so too. But being part of that particular herd brings.. Some sort of expectation. Which I couldn't meet. I've never been one of the heroic kind, I'm not really strong. And now I'm a nobody."

Weaver was a kind, quiet foal, loved by his mother. He grew up in the Cimarron herd, known across the wide plains of the Wild West. Spirit, their herd stallion, was a phenonemon: he was everything a young colt wanted to be, and he was everything that Weaver could not become. Growing up, he became anxious, because of the expectations of a young stallion originating from this herd. Weaver did not feel strong or heroic in any way. He was soft and kind, and thought these characteristics were not wanted from a Cimarron stallion.

The spring in which Weaver turned two years old discouraged him even more. He was old enough to become a potential threat to Spirit; as if Weaver would ever be able to establish dominance over the Spirit. It was without a warning that Spirit attacked the young colt, who did not know what was happening. He had not opposed Spirit, the herd stallion, or braught the herd in any danger. But Weaver did not dare to fight back, and when he noticed the herd - even his own mother - was not going to support him, he turned on his heels and ran off.

It was after his cast out that Weaver joined a small bachelor group with other exiled colts, located near Homeland's mountains. With the breath of the Cimarron herd ever in his back, Weaver grew frightened and distant. It wasn't until Willow and Rita came back into his life that the young colt started to regain his confidence.
