Essential nature/Personality: Wise, fatherly, quiet, giving, spirited, brave, noble, 

History:  Yuletide suffered accidental imprisoned when his owner suddenly turned ill and had to be taken to town; Yuletide stayed trapped in his stable, supplied with food and water but no light, for a fortnight (the two long weeks in the dark stable caused Yuletide's eyes to blur, and his right eye to look ugly). One night a young boy (an adventure seeker) unlocked Yuletide's stable door and the colt bolted.

On his travels Yuletide met an elderly Native Indian women who made him a temperary leather eye-patch (to protect his right eye from the sunlight, which she saw hurt him) and he later met a mare called Christmas Angel. They had a foal called Christmas tree.
