Spirit

My true brother under the sun,

Spirit is one of my favorite animated films, it touches the heart deepyly within and is filled with humor that the whole family can enjoy. In the movie, the story talks about a horse that isnt afraid to give up and stand for himself and others, Spirit is fearless, smart, strong, and rebelious, until he meets Rain. When he meets Rain, his true colors begin to show and he learns how to love and trust those that don't intend to hurt him. And the way he shows his mood is absolutely wonderful, Dreamworks, James Baxter especially, who animated Spirit, gave him some amazing characteristics that really said alot about Spirit, his emotions, his moods, everything! And of course the music, by Bryan Adams and Hans zimmer, is just fantastic, it really matches how the movie is told. The scenery however, is nothing that I've seen before, it really fills in the emty spaces of what a good movie is. And last but not least, I LOVE how the move takes place during the Civil War! I saw this movie when I was six, and now 14 years of age, I still love it, it really inspires me of what a five-star(In my opinion) animated film should look like, and it really strengthens my love for horses. Good job Dreamworks, a heartwarmingly touching and hilariously funny movie that gives it two thumbs up deserves a good rating and a sequal!
